A happy and independent life thanks to Splinterlands? A dream that can become reality

Since I was a child, my biggest dream was to play video games. At that age it was all so simple and I was not aware of the meaning of words like work, wages, taxes. I was happy with my videogames and stop. Growing up, however, those words were more and more frequent and the closer I got to them, the more I got away from videogames. My last console was the PlayStation 1, the arcades closed and so I moved a lot away from my favorite world: videogames of course.

Well, a couple of years ago I met Splinterlands, I was already on Hive for a few months and I was reading a lot of posts about the game and after some time I bought my spellbook and faced the first battles, the first cards won and the first DEC received. What a thrill these memories, it really feels like yesterday. Since then there have been many advances and personally I have a good collection that I am slowly trying to build and today they have a value that I would never have imagined until a few months ago.

Last night, before I fell asleep, I played Splinterlands and completed my daily quest, no particularly good cards, a few DEC and potions. I turned off my smartphone and fell asleep. Splinterlands accompanied me on this night of deep sleep, I was a player with high card value and I was on vacation with my family while playing and paying for my vacation from prizes. I was happy of course, no stress or anxiety. Then I woke up and thought: too bad it's just a dream. But could it one day become a reality?

To date between DEC, won cards and SPS airdrops (the latter affects my daily earnings a lot) I earn on average 25/30 dollars (I don't count the vouchers since all those I receive will be burned for the packages and also the airdrop is coming to an end ). Even the SPS airdrop will not be forever but will cease in just over 8 months and the gain will drop (I consider the current average price of SPS at $ 0.60). But I am very confident for the near future, the game really still has a lot of space to gain in the sector and the spotlight of the big industries is watching all this carefully. Playtoearn is the winning formula for the next generation of video games.

Some Splinterlands players today are millionaires, have bought new machines and improved their lives, others have quit their jobs to devote themselves full time to gaming and cryptocurrencies. My dream remains so for now, my commitment and my passion will continue to grow and I am sure that in a few years Splinterlands and Hive will be the best opportunity we have had in our life. Free from work and happy with our new life.

Sin da bambino, il mio sogno più grande era giocare ai videogames. In quella età era tutto così semplici e non ero consapevole del significato di parole come lavoro, salario, tasse. Ero felice con i miei videogames e stop. Crescendo però quelle parole sono state sempre più frequenti e più mi avvicinavo ad esse e più mi allontanavo dai videogames. La mia ultima console è stata la PlayStation 1, le sale giochi chiusero e così mi sono allontanato molto dal mio mondo preferito: i videogames naturalmente.

Bene, un paio d'anni fa ho conosciuto Splinterlands, ero già su Hive da qualche mese e leggevo molti post su gioco e dopo qualche tempo ho comprato il mio spellbook ed affrontato le prime battaglie, le prime carte vinte ed i primi DEC ricevuti. Che emozione questi ricordi, sembra davvero ieri. Da allora i progressi sono stati tanti e personalmente ho una buona collezione che sto cercando pian piano di costruire e ad oggi hanno un valore che non avrei mai immaginato fino a qualche mese fa.

Ieri sera, prima di addormentarmi, ho giocato a Splinterlands ed ho completato la mia quest giornaliera, nessuna carta particolarmente vantaggiosa, qualche DEC e pozione. Ho spento il mio smartphone e mi sono addormentato. Splinterlands mi ha accompagnato in questa notte di sonno profondo, ero un giocatore con un valore di carte importante ed ero in vacanza con la mia famiglia mentre giocavo e dai premi pagavo la mia vacanza. Ero felice ovviamente, nessuno stress o ansia. Poi mi sono svegliato ed ho pensato: peccato sia solo un sogno. Ma potrebbe un giorno diventare realtà?

Ad oggi tra DEC, carte vinte e airdrop SPS (quest'ultimo incide molto sul mio guadagno giornaliero) guadagno mediamente 25/30 dollari (non conto i voucher poiché tutti quelli che ricevo saranno bruciati per i pacchi ed inoltre l'airdrop volge al termine). Anche l'airdrop SPS non sarà in eterno ma cesserà tra poco più di 8 mesi ed il guadagno scenderà (considero il prezzo medio attuale di SPS sui 0.60 $). Ma sono molto fiducioso per il futuro prossimo, il gioco ha davvero ancora molto spazio da guadagnare nel settore ed i riflettori delle grandi industrie stanno osservando con attenzione tutto ciò. Il playtoearn è la formula vincente delle prossime generazioni di videogiochi.

Alcuni giocatori di Splinterlands oggi sono milionari, hanno acquistato macchine nuove e migliorato la loro vita, altri hanno lasciato il proprio lavoro per dedicarsi a tempo pieno al gioco e alle cryptovalute. Il mio sogno per ora resta tale, il mio impegno e la mia passione continueranno a crescere e sono certo che tra qualche anno Splinterlands e Hive saranno la migliore opportunità che abbiamo avuto nella nostra vita. Liberi dal lavoro e felici con la nostra nuova vita.
