About a couple of years ago, to counteract the large amount of DEC in circulation, the team created a parallel token called DEC-B, usable in the game but not tradable on the secondary market or among users themselves. The incentive to convert DEC->DEC-B was driven by a 20% markup, which burned through over 1 billion stablecoins, if I recall correctly. It was an initiative that was very successful with the community; I myself participated in the conversion with about 100,000 DEC.

Today, one could consider some initiative that encourages players to burn DEC, to boost demand for the token on the market and try to mitigate the negative market effect it's creating. DEC has now reached 50% of its peg value, meaning no one is burning SPS to get the stablecoin anymore.

For example, one could incentivize burning DEC to get GLINT at a 1:1 ratio, regardless of the token's value. GLINT is a highly sought-after token, and I'm sure many users would spend some of their capital to get it. It could be one of the many initiatives to utilize tokens currently in circulation in large quantities and contribute to the slow elimination of the excess.

Ormai DEC ha raggiunto il 50% del valore rispetto al peg, l'effetto è quello che nessuno oramai brucia SPS per ottenere la stablecoin.

Ad esempio si potrebbe incentivare il burning di DEC per ottenere GLINT in rapporto 1:1, a prescindere dal valore del token. GLINT è un gettone molto richiesto e sono certo che molti utenti spenderebbero un po' del loro capitale per ottenerlo.! Potrebbe essere una delle tante iniziative per utilizzare tokens che al momento sono in circolazione in grande quantità e contribuire alla lenta eliminazione dell'eccesso.
