A new card will soon be available in Splinterlands, HELOISE THE HOLLOW, and in just under 6 days it will be available for sale. The novelty consists in the new sales method: every day, for 100 days, a card at maximum level will be sold and the price will not be set by the team but by the players who will participate in the purchase through an auction.

This is really great news and there is a lot of anticipation and interest from the community for this new sales system. The question many are asking is how much value will the auction generate? I remember that the purchase will be made exclusively in $DEC and that all tokens used for purchases will be automatically sent to the DAO. Regardless of how much the auction will yield, more DEC will be removed from the circulating supply to be available to the community. And this is good news for tokenomics.

I read a survey on X from which it appears that users expect over 100 million DEC from this event, some even double. This means that each card could be sold for 1 million DEC, about 850 dollars on average. Personally, I consider this a fairly high figure as an average for a card, especially in this phase of the market. I think that 50 million DEC could be reached more easily (an average of 500k per card). Perhaps the first copies could reach record figures driven by the initial enthusiasm, but then the price would hardly grow over time.

There are now a few days left until the auction starts and I will try to win a copy of HELOISE THE HOLLOW, even though I understand that it will be really difficult. Happy bidding everyone!

Un nuova carta sarà presto disponibile in Splinterlands, HELOISE THE HOLLOW, e tra poco meno di 6 giorni sarà disponibile alla vendita. La novità consiste nel nuovo metodo do vendita: ogni giorno, per 100 giorni, sarà venduta una carta a livello massimo ed il prezzo non sarà stabilito dal team ma dai giocatori che parteciperanno all'acquisto tramite un'asta.

Ciò è davvero una grande novità e vi è molto attesa ed interesse da parte della comunità per questo nuovo sistema di vendita. La domanda che molti si pongono è quanto valore genererà l'asta? Ricordo che l'acquisto sarà effettuato esclusivamente in $DEC e che tutti i tokens utilizzati per gli acquisti saranno inviati automaticamente al DAO. Indipendentemente da quanto frutterà l'asta, altro DEC sarà tolto dalla supply circolante per essere a disposizione della comunità. E questa è una buona notizia per la tokenomics.

Ho letto un sondaggio su X da cui si evince che gli utenti si attendo oltre 100 milioni di DEC da questo evento, qualcuno anche il doppio. Ciò significa che ogni carta potrebbe essere venduta a 1 milione di DEC, circa 850 dollari in media. Personalmente lo reputo una cifra abbastanza elevata come media per una carta, specialmente in questa fase del mercato. Io penso che si potrebbero raggiungere più facilmente i 50 milioni di DEC (una media di 500k a carta). Forse le prime copie potrebbero raggiungere cifre record spinto dall'iniziale entusiasmo, ma poi il prezzo difficilmente potrebbe crescere nel tempo.

Mancano oramai pochi giorni all'inizio dell'asta ed io proverò ad aggiudicarmi una copia di HELOISE THE HOLLOW, seppur comprendo che sarà davvero difficile. Buon'asta tutti!
