One of my favorite rulesets is Little League, where players can choose to field only units with 4 or less mana. It's not easy to choose a lineup entirely with units with such low mana, which shows how important it is to have low-mana and seemingly weaker monsters in your card pool.

In Splinterlands, it's not necessarily true that having only strong cards means you'll need the champion. It's important to have a consistent lineup; rather than focusing on only strengthening powerful cards, the best strategy is to consistently grow all your units. It's essential to level up all your cards at the same time, regardless of their power.

This is something I learned in my first year of playing, when I was obviously quite inexperienced and only leveled up the most powerful cards, and at a certain point I still couldn't advance in the league. Now my game strategy always starts from the bottom and I proceed to level up all my cards. This is advice I give to new players: grow slowly and logically.

Non è poi così semplice scegliere una formazione interamente con unità aventi mana così basso e ciò indica quanto sia importante avere nel proprio asset di carte, mostri con mana bassa e apparentemente più deboli.

In Splinterlands infatti non è assolutamente detto che chi abbia solo carte forti poi sia necessario il campione. È importante avere una formazione omogenea, piuttosto che concentrarsi nel potenziare solo carte potenti, la strategia migliore è crescere con costanza un po' tutte le unità. È fondamentale aumentare di pari passo tutte le carte, a prescindere dalla potenza delle stesse.

Questa è un'esperienza che io ho imparato nel primo anno di gioco, quando ovviamente ero abbastanza inesperto e potenziavo solo le carte più potenti e ad un certo punto non riuscivo comunque ad avanzare nella lega. Ormai la mia strategia di gioco parte sempre dal basso e procedo ad potenziare tutte le carte di livello in livello. È un consiglio che io elargisco ai nuovi giocatori. Crescere piano e con logica.
