When I met Splinterlands, in 2019, I had no knowledge of #web3 games. However, the idea of earning rewards simply by playing was a fundamental stimulus for the beginning of my adventure in the world of #play2earn games and I still play always and only with Splinterlands. As a play2earn game, however, a discrete initial investment is necessary to start obtaining noteworthy rewards.

I bought my first spellbook, also obtaining a poor initial set of cards, honestly I was very confused about the game mechanism. I have never played anything similar to Splinterlands so for me it was really all new. Of course, in 2019 there were really many fewer rules, skills and cards but today everything is increasingly interesting, especially with the arrival of LAND.

At the time there were no detailed guides and I learned exclusively by playing endless battles, asking for support from players in Discord and watching videos of battles shared on Hive or X. In all these years there has been an incredible evolution of the game and the graphics are increasingly captivating, detailed and innovative. I started my gaming experience with the Untamed set, but only with the Chaos Legion did I begin to appreciate the dynamics of the game and above all to seriously invest in card packs.

However, the disappointment of the increasingly declining value of the set discouraged me a bit from investing, having practically devalued my investment and so I was practically absent from purchasing Rebellion packs. But the new sales system and the burning mechanism, in addition to a more limited sale of packs, have today encouraged me to return to investing in Splinterlands, in particular in the new Conclave Arena set. A journey that over time has therefore distanced me a bit from investing money in assets in Splinterlands, excluding SPS, but now I am ready and excited about the upcoming sale of the new set, whose final details will be laid out in the next TownHall!

Quando ho conosciuto Splinterlands, nel 2019, non avevo alcuna conoscenza del giochi #web3. L'idea però di guadagnare rewards semplicemente giocando è stato uno stimolo fondamentale per l'inizio della mia avventura nel mondo dei giochi #play2earn e tutt'ora in gioco sempre e solo con Splinterlands. Come gioco play2earn, è necessario però un investimento iniziale discreto per iniziare ad ottenere rewards degne di nota.

Ho acquistato il mio primo spellbook, ottenendo anche un set di carte iniziale scarso, sinceramente avevo molta confusione sul corre meccanismo di gioco. Non ho mai giocato a qualcosa di simile dimma Splinterlands per cui per me era davvero tutto nuovo. Certo, nel 2019 c'erano davvero molte meno regole, abilità e carte ma oggi tutto è sempre più interessante, specialmente con l'arrivo di LAND.

All'epoca non esistevano guide dettagliate ed io ho imparato esclusivamente giocando infinte battaglie, chiedendo supporto ai giocatori in Discord e guardando i video delle battaglie condivise su Hive o X. In tutti questi anni c'è stata un'evoluzione incredibile del gioco e della grafica sempre più accattivante, dettagliata e innovativa. Ho iniziato la mia esperienza di gioco con il set Untamed, ma solo con il Chaos Legion ho iniziato ad apprezzare oe dinamiche del gioco e soprattutto ad investire seriamente in pacchi carte.

La delusione però del valore sempre più calante del set mi ha un po' scoraggiato ad investire, avendo praticamente svalutato il mio investimento e così sono stato praticamente assente dall'acquisto di pacchi Rebellion. Ma il nuovo sistema di vendita e il meccanismo di burning, oltre ad una vendita più limitata di pacchi, mi hanno oggi spronato a tornare ad investire in Splinterlands, in particolare nel nuovo set Conclave Arena. Un viaggio che nel corso del tempo mi ha quindi un po' allontanato dall'investimento di denaro negli asset in Splinterlands, ad esclusione di SPS, ma ora sono pronto ed entusiasta dell'imminente vendita del nuovo set, i cui dettagli ultimi saranno disposti nel prossimo TownHall!
