Hello to all Splinterlands friends, here we are with the new episode of Battle Mage Secrets Weekly and the focus is on the Back to Basics ruleset, all the monsters lined up fight without skills, with the exception of the Summoners for whom it remains everything unchanged. Furthermore, during the battle it was only possible to choose between cards with melee attacks, so monsters with any other type of characteristics were automatically excluded.

The battle strategy was therefore to deploy monsters with a powerful attack and a solid defense, in order to resist as much as possible and inflict more damage at every turn. A monster vs monster battle took place in first position, who faced each other with hard blows and demonstrated all their power. As mentioned, skills have been abolished, so you absolutely cannot rely on them.

The battle was very balanced, my opponent showed off a couple of very powerful Untamed cards, and it wasn't easy to defeat them at all, especially if a penalty of 2 points is added to the opponents' attacks for each turn (obviously for both ), but I was really very unlucky because my opponent won the battle last second, one resurrection too many which was fatal for me, less so for my opponent.

So the luck factor is fundamental in such balanced battles, but as you well know it often turns. Today it was my opponent's turn, tomorrow maybe it was me ☺️. For this challenge I chose the Summoner of the element KELYA FRENDUL taking advantage of the double bonus +1 speed and armor, it probably gave me an advantage in speeding up the attacks of my cards, but being purely a challenge only among the cards in the front row in short, it did not have an overall effect, limiting itself to just one card. I would be curious to know if by deploying Tarsa I would have obtained a better chance of victory, but alas it is absolutely not useful at the moment. The beauty of contests is precisely that of experimenting, failing, understanding and applying yourself in future battles!

Ciao a tutti amici di Splinterlands, eccoci aloa nuova puntata di Battle Mage Secrets Weekly ed il focus è sul rulset Back to Basics, tutte i mostri schierati combattono senza le abilità,ad esclusione invece dei Summoners per i quali resta tutto invariato. Durante la battaglia inoltre è stato possibile scegliere solo tra carte con attacco melee, per cui mostri con qualsiasi altro tipo di caratteristiche sono state automaticamente escluse.

La strategia di battaglia è stata quindi schierare mostri con attacco poderoso ed una difesa solida, al fine di resistere il più possibile ed infliggere più danni ad ogni turno. Si è svolta una battaglia mostro Vs mostro in prima posizione, che si sono affrontati a colpi duri e hanno dimostrato tutta la loro potenza. Come detto, le abilità sono state abolite, per cui non si può far assolutamente fare affidamento su di esse.

La battaglia è stata molto equilibrata, il mio avversario ha sfoderato un paio di carte Untamed davvero molto potenti, e non è stato per nulla semplice sconfiggerli, soprattutto se agli attacchi degli avversari si aggiunge un malus di 2 punti per ogni turno (ovviamente per entrambi), ma io sono stato davvero molto sfortunato perché il mio avversario ha vinto last second la battaglia, una resurrezione di troppo che per me è stato fatale, meno per il mio avversario.

Quindi il fattore fortuna è fondamentale nelle battaglie così equilibrate, ma come ben saprai spesso gira. Oggi è toccato al mio avversario, domani forse a me ☺️. Per questa sfida ho scelto il Summoner dell'elemento KELYA FRENDUL sfruttando il doppio bonus +1 velocità e armatura, mi ha fornito probabilmente un vantaggio nella velocizzare gli attacchi delle mie carte, ma essendo prettamente una sfida solo tra le carte in prima fila in poche parole non ha sortito un effetto complessivo, limitandosi appunto ad una sola carta. Sarei curioso di sapere se schierando Tarsa avrei ottenuto maggiori possibilità di vittoria, ma ahimè non è assolutamente utile al momento. Il bello dei contest è proprio quello di sperimentare, fallire, comprendere e applicarsi nelle battaglie future!
