Hello friends of Splinterlands, here we are at the usual appointment with the Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge and this week's chosen rulset is Broken Arrows, all monsters with ranged attacks will not be usable in battle, including monsters that have both attack melee that ranged! Therefore the choice of cards to deploy remains wide, as there are no other further limitations.

As is evident from the screenshot of my battle, I preferred to deploy 5 out of 6 cards with magic attack, strengthened by the +1 magic attack bonus granted by the summoner of the Earth element OBSIDIAN. The strategy was good but unfortunately my opponent had the same idea as me, deploying well-powered cards that I couldn't resist. A mistake that I would avoid, but I'm not sure that it would have changed the fate of the battle, is the deployment in first position of a card with a poor Melee attack and more resistant defense, to the detriment of some magical cards.

In truth, having deployed the MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN card, I had too much faith in the Taunt ability, attracting too much magical attacks and unfortunately the resistance was quite limited. After an apparently balanced initial phase, my cards were defeated one after the other, also causing slight damage to the opponent who ended the battle with almost all active cards.

On the other hand, the challenge aims to understand the mistakes made and learn new strategies that can make the difference in future battles. Unfortunately, the Earth element is among those that I have not upgraded to the maximum level, due to a purely economic choice made during my game strategy. Lrobab with all the cards upgraded to maximum level, perhaps I would have had a better chance of winning. But that's okay, I'm comiq satisfied with my journey so far!

Ciao amici di Splinterlands, eccoci al consueto appuntamento con il Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge ed il rulset scelto di questa settimana è Broken Arrows, tutti mostri con attacchi ranged non saranno utilizzabili in battaglia, inclusi mostri che hanno sia attacco melee che ranged! Per cui la scelta di carte da schierare resta comunque ampia, non essendoci altre ulteriori limitazioni.

Come è evidente dello screenshot della mia battaglia, ho preferito schierare 5 carte su 6 con attacco magico, rafforzato dal bonus di attacco magico +1 garantì dal summoner dell'elemento Earth OBSIDIAN. La strategia è stata buona ma purtroppo ilio avversario ha avuto la mia stessa idea, schierando carte ben potenziate a cui non ho potuto resistere. Un errore che eviterei, ma non sono certo che avrebbe cambiato le sorti della battaglia, è lo schieramento in prima posizione di una carta con attacco Melee scarso e difesa più resistente, a discapito di qualche carta magica.

In verità, avendo schierato la carta MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN, ho avuto troppo fiducia nell'abilità Taunt, attraendo a sé troppo attacchi magici e purtroppo la resistenza è stata abbastanza limitata. Dopo una fase iniziale apparentemente equilibrata, le mie carte sono state sconfitte una dopo l'altra, recando anche un lieve danno all'avversario che ha terminato lo scontro con quasi tutte le carte attive.

D'altronde il challenge ha lo scopo di comprendere gli errori commessi ed imparare nuove strategie che potranno fare la differenza nelle pross battaglie. Purtroppo l'elemento Earth è tra quelli che non ho potenziato al massimo livello, a causa di ianscelta prettame economica fatta durante la mia strategia di gioco. Lrobab con tutte le carte potenziate al massimo livello, forse avrei avuto qualche chance in più di vittoria. Ma va bene così, sono comiq soddisfatto del mio percorso fin qui raggiunto!
