Hello friends of Splinterlands, here we are at the new weekly Challenge appointment which aims to deepen the rulset of the game. This week's theme is Heavy Hitters and every monster deployed to battle will automatically gain the Knock Out ability. Each monster will therefore be able to double the damage if the opponent is stunned and will therefore suffer a double penalty: he will suffer greater damage and will miss his turn.

In my battle, my opponent and I shared most of the cards deployed, having a very similar strategy. The difference, in my opinion, is represented by the DEEPLURKER card, a real monster with incredible offensive power, especially if boosted to the max, to which is added the possibility of inflicting poison with each attack.

So imagine having a stunned opponent, DEEPLURKER will inflict 10 points of damage to which another 2 points will probably be added for poisoning each turn! The battle was therefore initially balanced but in the long run my training clearly prevailed over the opponent and I am now getting closer and closer to the Champions III league!

Conclusion

The @splinterlands contests are not only meant to get us generous upvotes but above all to help us discover new cards that can be very useful in our battles and stimulate us to new strategies and more options in battle.

The low card prices, also caused by the large number of prints and availability of Chaos Legion cards, are a great entry point for new players. In fact, it is possible to build an excellent deck of cards by spending little, compared to the cards of previous editions. It will also be interesting to observe the upcoming airdrops of CL cards in order to better determine which Summoner to upgrade and consequently which cards to buy on the market!

Furthermore, the strategy that each player sets himself can undergo natural variations, in order to improve his deck of cards and climb the ranking of the best players, also obtaining higher rewards!

Ciao amici di Splinterlands, eccoci al nuovo appuntamento settimanale del Challenge che ha come obiettivo l'approfondimento dei rulset del gioco. Questa settimana il tema è Heavy Hitters e ogni mostro schierato in battaglia acquisterà automaticamente l'abilità Knock Out. Ogni mostro quindi potrà raddoppiare il danno se l'avversario è stordito e subirà quindi una doppia penale: subirà un danno maggiore e salterà il turno.

Nella mia battaglia, io ed il mio avversario abbiamo condiviso gran parte delle carte schierate, avendo una strategia molto simile. La differenza, secondo il mio giudizio, è rappresentata dalla carta DEEPLURKER, un vero mostro con una potenza offensiva incredibile, soprattutto se potenziata al max, a cui si aggiunge la possibilità d'infliggere veleno ad ogni attacco.

Immaginate quindi di avere un avversario stordito, DEEPLURKER infliggerà ben 10 punti di danni a cui si aggiungeranno con probabilità altri 2 punti per avvelenamento ad ogni turno! La battaglia è stata quindi inizialmente equilibrata ma alla lunga la mia formazione ha nettamente prevalso sull'avversario e mi avvicino ormai sempre più alla lega Champions III!

Conclusione

I contest di @splinterlands non hanno solo lo scopo di farci ottenere generosi upvotes ma sono soprattutto di aiutarci a scoprire nuove carte che possono essere davvero molto utili nelle nostre battaglie e stimolarci a nuove strategie e più opzioni in battaglia.

I prezzi bassi delle carte, causati anche dal gran numero di stampe e disponibilità delle carte di Chaos Legion, sono un ottimo punto di ingresso per i nuovi giocatori. Infatti è possibile costruire un ottimo mazzo di carte spendendo poco, rispetto alle carte delle precedenti edizioni. Sarà anche interessante osservare i prossimi airdrops delle carte CL in modo da determinare meglio quale Evocatore potenziare e di conseguenza le carte da acquistare sul mercato!

Inoltre, la strategia che ogni giocatore si imposta, può subire variazioni naturali, in modo da migliorare il proprio mazzo di carte e scalare la classifica dei migliori giocatori, ottenendo anche ricompense più elevate!
