Hello all Splinterlands friends, here we are at the new appointment with the Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge, a timely weekly appointment to discuss and delve deeper into the game's rulesets. This week the theme of the challenge is Rise of the Commons, only common and rare monsters can be used in battle!

I like this rulset because I am a big fan of common and rare cards, in my opinion they have a greater use than especially the legendary ones which are often expensive cards both to buy on the market and due to the often high mana. Furthermore, as in this case, they are subject to exclusion in battle, so it is an investment that must be considered. In general, common cards are considered less powerful... From this point of view it is partly true but overall, common and rare cards are as competitive as epic and legendary cards.

That said, for my battle I chose the Water element, always my favorite, and with the addition of a couple of neutral cards, the lineup is at the top. In first position I deployed the powerful Diemonshark, a real tank, nothing to complain about, very competitive for example with other legendary tanks.

Another exceptional card is DEEPLURKER, a sea monster that has a powerful close-range attack and above all is able to attack opponents even from second position. Furthermore, every attack launched by the monster has a chance of poisoning the opponent, effectively condemning him to defeat in the course of a short time.

The battle was not easy, my opponent fielded a very compact formation and being able to defeat the opponents required time and a bit of luck!

Ciao a tutti amici di Splinterlands, eccoci al nuovo appuntamento con il Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge, puntuale appuntamento settimanale per discutere e approfondire i rulset del gioco. Questa settimana il tema del challenge è Rise of the Commons, solo i mostri comuni e rari potranno essere utilizzati in battaglia!

Mi piace questo rulset perché io sono un grande fan delle carte comuni e rare, a mio avviso hanno un utilizzo maggiore rispetto soprattutto alle leggendarie che spesso sono carte costose sia da acquistare sul mercato e sia per il mana spesso elevato. Inoltre, come in questo caso, sono soggette ad esclusione in battaglia, per cui è un investimento che deve essere ponderato. In generale, le carte comuni sono ritenute meno potenti... Su questo punto di vista in parte è vero ma nel complesso della formazione, le carte comuni e rare sono competitive quanto le epiche e leggendarie.

Detto ciò, per la mia battaglia ho scelto l'elemento Water, da sempre il mio preferito, e con l'ingres di un paio di carte neutrali, la formazione è al top. In prima posizione ho schierato il potente Diemonshark, un vero tank, nulla da eccepire, molto competitivo ad esempio con altri tank leggendari.

Un'altra carta eccezionale è DEEPLURKER, un mostro marino che ha un possente attacco ravvicinato e soprattutto è in grado di attaccare gli avversari anche dalla seconda posizione. Inoltre, ogni attacco sferrato dal mostro, vi è una possibilità di avvelenare l'avversario, condannandolo di fatto alla sconfitta nel corso di poco tempo.

La battaglia è stata non semplice, il mio avversario ha schierato una formazione molto compatta e riuscire a sconfiggere gli avversari ga richiesto tempo ed un pizzico di fortuna!
