Hello all Splinterlands friends, the theme of this week's Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge is Up Close and Personal, all players who come across this rulset will be forced to only field units with melee attacks. My strategy, not always rewarding as in this game, is to deploy a powerful monster in first position, possibly with a powerful attack force like COASTAL SENTRY, Soulbounded common card.

My choice seems to have been correct as my cards in the first part of the battle have the upper hand, defeating 4 cards out of 6, a decidedly favorable condition. Yet, when victory was just a few steps ahead of me, the opponent reacted beyond my expectations, and an advantageous situation was transformed in so few steps. VENATOR KINJO, a neutral and legendary card, was deployed by both of us, but the damage it caused to my cards was decidedly greater than what my card could have done, to which is added the strength of XENITH MONK, launching attacks powerful cards in last position.

The substantial advantage, however, arises from my opponent's decision to deploy Tarsa, and all the opposing units gain a +1 melee attack and health bonus, so the attack power is decidedly superior to mine. Furthermore, XENITH MONK has the ability to heal itself, so at some point it became impossible for me to do any more damage. Perhaps, if I had also deployed Tarsa, I would have had a few more chances to sink my claws in and perhaps defeat my opponent, but unfortunately I wasn't lucky enough. Honor to the opponent.

The Splinterlands challenges help me learn new strategies and new ways of approaching battles, in the next challenges with the Up Close and Personal rulset I will certainly push more with the Tarsa summoner, the strategy is clearly fairer! All the more!

Ciao a tutti amici di Splinterlands, il tema del Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge di questa settimana è Up Close and Personal, tutti i giocatori che s'imbattono in questo rulset saranno obbligati a schierare solo unità con attacchi melee. La mia strategia, non sempre premiante come in questa partita, è quella di schierare in prima posizione un mostro potente, possibilmente con una forza d'attacco possente come COASTAL SENTRY, carta comune Soulbounded.

La mia scelta sembra essere stata corretta poichè le mie carte nella prima parte della battaglia hanno il sopravvento, sconfiggendo 4 carte su 6, una condizione decisamente favorevole. Eppure, quando la vittoria era ormai a pochi passi davanti a me, ecco che l'avversario ha reagito oltre le mie aspettative, e una situazione di vantaggio si è trasformata in così pochi steps. VENATOR KINJO, carta neutrale e leggendaria, è stata schiera da entrambi, ma il danno che ha causato alle mie carte è stato decisamente superiore a quanto possa aver fatto la mia carta, a cui si aggiunge la forza di XENITH MONK, sferrando attacchi poderosi alle carte in ultima posizione.

Il vantaggio sostanziale però nasce dalla decisione del mio avversario di schierare Tarsa, e tutte le unità avversarie ottengono un bonus +1 attacco melee e salute, per cui la potenza d'attacco è decisamente superiore alla mia. Inoltre XENITH MONK ha l'abilità di curarsi, per cui ad un certo punto è diventato impossibile per me fare più danni. Forse, se avessi schierato anche io Tarsa, avrei avuto qualche chances in più per affondare gli artigli e magari sconfiggere il mio avversario, ma purtroppo non sono stato abbastanza fortunato. Onore all'avversario.

Le sfide di Splinterlands mi aiutano ad apprendere nuove strategie e nuove modi di affrontare le battaglie, nelle prossime sfide con il rulset Up Close and Personal di certo spingerà maggiormente con l'evocatore Tarsa, la strategia è nettamente più giusta! Ad maiora!
