SPS DAO Project Manager Invoicing and Recap August 2026
Hello all of you Splinteresting humans! We've got quite a lot going on in the Splinterlands these days as well as several new 3rd party companions games and projects prepping for launch. Let's take a quick run through some of the highlights this month.
There were some technical upgrades to bridges that were completed this month. It seems to have solved the random issues that were taking BSC offline occasionally. We've also paid up our server hosting fees and block streamer subscription for the next year. These subscriptions cost us roughly $1,100 a year in total and so far our bridge fees for the last year totaled almost $7,000. While things have slowed down over the last few months, they've already paid for themselves for the next several years at least.
The DAO token buybacks have begun. They're a bit conservative at the start to ensure we have a bit buffer to keep our outstanding obligations of $60,000 a month paid up, but still we've already begun to reacquire some of the DEC we've been putting out. I'll provide final numbers on the monthly company invoice.
I'm working quite closely with the team on the upcoming card releases. We're designing the next set of voucher cards, the next core set, new abilities and more. You should be seeing some of these things soon, speaking of:
The Lumina charity event in honor of Dwayne's daughter should be launching this week. I had the honor of working with him to design it and I'm very happy to see how our community has reacted to this initiative so far. Thanks for being awesome guys.
In my "free time" I've been helping several 3rd party community devs test and bug hunt their new projects and games that are currently in production. There's a lot of awesome projects being built right now and honestly it is making me really hyped up and reminding me of the end of the Untamed era when I was working on my RPG. Fun days ahead.
