SPS DAO Project Manager Invoicing and Recap December 2025

Happy Winterfest and seasons greetings to the whole Splinterfam. This month has been a little more relaxed than usual, but we're still making some good progress and preparing to make some big moves in 2026. Let's briefly touch on the highlights:

I'm still working very closely with the team on ensuring that the miniset meets the same quality standards as the core set. We're at the finish line and in the process of wrapping up the cards for creative to work their magic. The gameplay feels tight and the miniset is full of quality cards that should make the set a must-have.

We've also been working to outline the presale incentives and I've been pushing the team to add conflicts for the miniset, which ultimately led to the currently ongoing proposal to amend the miniset. The promo cards for the presale are going to be very nice as well. If you read these posts of mine, then you may want to take this as a good sign that you should get more SPS yesterday to lock in the max discount and presale incentives.

While last month we managed to finally get CMC to recognize our Validator network as the source of truth, there's still more work to be done there. We're be continuing the pursuit of data integrity by working to get all of the wrapped tokens and LPs tracked so that our volume and DEX listings, at least those outside of hive-engine, will be visible to the wider crypto world. This is an ongoing process and will hopefully not take as long as it did to get them to recognize our validators. Once that is done, I'll start working on CoinGecko.

I've been meeting with Dave to discuss plans for implementing additional SPS utility into the game over the course of 2026 and hopefully we'll have more information to share in that regard soon as plans are firmed up. Also, you should keep in mind that after the current Voucher card goes out of print, there will be a new cycle of three Voucher cards at a time going forward. You may want to start holding on to your vouchers to prepare for that eventuality.

Hopefully everyone had a good Christmas and that we all have a really great New Year! I'm very excited for 2026 in the Splinterlands and can't wait until we're in a position to share more details about what's cooking up for SPS utility. It should be a very good year.
