SPS DAO Project Manager Invoicing and Recap March 2026

Greetings fellow Splintenials, it's time for another monthly recap! It feels like every month there's more happening and I've been working closely with the new CEO of Splinterlands (Dave) to develop a gameplan for how we can move forward to both empower the DAO and help to form a better collaborative partnership to benefit both the company and DAO moving forward. We'll be sharing more on this later this week.

There's been quite a few proposals and issues to work through this month. Survival mode has been tweaked a few times now and ultimately the most recent proposal just empowered the company to experiment with it before the DAO needs to think about assigning SPS rewards to the format, which honestly I think is for the best at this point. We all want a functional new game mode, but we also need to be able to step back and let the team develop it without us micromanaging everything due to the SPS rewards.

We had to do some update work on the block explorer as the token supplies had gotten a bit wonky due to recent proposals that moved rewards around and the continuation of migrating the hive-engine bridge to DAO control. I think that'll be completed soon. Will update when it's finished.

One of the next related projects in the pipeline to be worked on as time permits is to get CoinGecko info updated. We already managed to fix the CMC data which in my opinion was much more important, but ideally we'd like to fix the CoinGecko data too and hopefully we'll be able to reuse much of the work done and APIs that were built for CMC.

This month quite a lot of time has also been going into working more closely with the team on testing and helping to ideate on the next core set mechanic as well as the Voucher and forge cards. We're also working on testing a few other things that should be public facing soon. Some of which were already discussed on the most recent Town Hall.

I'd say the biggest thing going on right now is that I've been working closely with Dave on sales forecasting and working on a gameplan that ensures the company is financially stable and the partnership with our DAO continues to grow in meaningful ways. I don't want to get into all of it here, but suffice it to say you'll all be hearing more about it this week. Dave and I will be doing a TPG episode to discuss the idea overall and we'll host a DAOn Hall later in the week or early next week to engage with the community directly.

We have some interesting and exciting times ahead. I know we'd all love prices to be looking better, but considering we're still outperforming much of the entire crypto space year over year while the entire global economy is melting down, I'm still hopeful and optimistic.
