Beginner's Mistake
Dang it! This blog is about me giving newbies an advise to READ and RESEARCH a lot first before buying things in a game.
To be honest, this is my 1st NFT game and I got so excited so I watched some Youtube videos, read some articles ( few articles, did not even read them all ) before signing up and started buying.
Actually, what I did first after signing up was I browsed through the market to see which items I can buy and sell.
I noticed that there are a lot of very expensive cards that you can obtain and sell.
I started researching about how I can get a hand of those legendary cards. Found out that I will have to buy some card packs and open them with legendary potions.
So, what I did was I immediately purchased 2500 charges of Legendary potions thinking that I will be able to get more for free.
I was so happy and very excited to open packs and try my luck getting some legendary potions.
You know what I did next? Yeah, you guessed it...
I went to the shop, clicked on cards. .and. .there's the bad news.. THE PACKS ARE ALREADY SOLD OUT!!
I panicked and really got disappointed. Then I took a deep breath and thought of searching the internet again about where I can buy Splinterlands packs outside of the game's shop.
I saw some articles about it and started reading. What I tried is I created a hive engine account and started browsing for Untamed packs. Then I got very surprised because of the price! ( Rhymes )
The price there is very high but I still bought some packs because I was so desperate and excited to start opening some packs and get some legendary cards.
Good news is, I got 1 legendary card for opening the packs I bought. Then I stopped and thought of just waiting for the new packs to be available at the shop because I can't afford to lose more money buying packs from other sources.
Well, to end this blog, what I'm trying to tell you guys is . .please.. do a lot of research, ask people, check their social media sites, pages. Join their discord and you will be able to learn a lot from the nice community.
Don't just jump in and start purchasing. I don't know how to end this .. so .. I will just.. leave this with a lot of periods.. .. . .. .. ..

This will draw them to your own account aswell, where they will discover a little more about you and relationships take off from there, and comments and votes will be the next step.
