Hey there, fellow Splinterlands enthusiasts! Prepare yourselves for an adrenaline-pumping tale that'll transport you straight into the heart of a tournament battle I recently stumbled upon. Today, we're diving deep into the fierce clash between @aThunderstruck and yours truly, cmmndrgarlic, where our trusty warriors Fina and Windeku took center stage. So grab a cozy seat, maybe a cup of your favorite beverage, and let me regale you with the thrilling twists and turns of this captivating showdown!

Imagine this: the tension in the air was palpable as I faced off against aThunderstruck, a formidable opponent known for their cunning strategies. Little did I know that aThunderstruck had a surprise in store for me—a fearsome Fina, ready to unleash its tactical brilliance. My chosen champion? None other than Windeku, a versatile creature with tricks up its sleeve. The stage was set for an epic battle of wits!

With the Melee mayhem and Up-to-Eleven ruleset my first thought is to use a card with reflect damage, in this case, I used Cursed Windeku since it has thorns damage. The thorns damage shall hopefully dish out good damage to melee monsters hitting him. I went into the battle confident knowing that I fully took advantage of the ruleset that we have.

@aThunderstruck Yeah it was! Well played! I was also thinking about that cursed windeku cause amplify. But then I figured hmm maybe you'll play that too so perhaps I should try to find a way around it

I learned that aThunderstruck also considered using Windeku but he took the match to another level and brought a Gladius card with him. Using the Eternan Brune, he was able to summon Fina Voxom which is the key for him to win.

The combination of having Opportunity and Bloodlust is a great workaround in a match of Melee Mayhem, I learned that Opportunity bypasses the ruleset. Putting my Corpse Fiend in my lineup contributed to my loss because it was an instant feed for Fina.

Another point that I learned from playing in these tournaments is that Gladius cards are forminadle cards to use in most of the matches.
