6 Years or Splinterlands and My Journey

Splinterlands is an online collectible card game using the blockchain technology. Every user will need cards to play the game, these cards or assets are NFTs (Non-Fungible Token) which can be traded. These cards is used to play against other players. Now every card will have the unique ability and they are divided between Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. The more the ability, the more it can help you to win the games and the more expensive it becomes.

We are celebrating 6 year anniversary of Splinterlands. So splinterlands have completed 6 years and still long way to go. We are still very early, and as more and more people come into the crypto ecosystem we will see a huge number of players signing up for the best Play2Earn I.e. Splinterlands.

I didn't joined the game right away. I am associated with Hive for more than 7 years and when 6 years back splinterlands launched, I was just seeing the post about a new game on Steem Hive. Everyone was jumping on it right and left. I too after watching for 1 month, joined the game in June 2018.

But the think is I joined the game in 2018, but was not serious or invested in the game till 2020. After 2020, I have been investing my time as well as some money into the game and growing. So yeah, I consider myself unlucky to not started playing the game seriously from 2018 itself, but I am happy that I have started in 2020 and it's been 4 years playing this beautiful game.

I am a regular player on spinterlands like 15 to 30 minutes playing the game everyday. But recently it has reduced quite a bit because of other commitments. But I am sure when I get enough time I will start the game playing the game again regularly as well as daily atleast for 15 minutes. I know it's not good that I cannot spend atleast 15 minutes for the game, but trust me I am literally packed on schedule from past month or so.

I managed to achive good amount of success like recently I have started playing in the Diamond league in the Wild. It is to be honest a big achievement for me because I have never thought I would be able to reach without spending a lot of money. But again with removal of barrier of SPS I am able to reach here quite soon and the next step is to get to the Champion league.

Other than that there is nothing much I have accomplished but yeah it's good to get those Legendary card and I love to collect some of them. For me mainlyI want to reach Champion league first and then would love to have more and more SPS so that I can increase my Glint rewards as well as increase the legendary card se tion eventually.

If you are someone who is just getting into the splinterlands, I would say that you should explore the game more and more to see your likings in the game. Because if you don't enjoy it will bore you. So what I do is to play the game with different strategy all the times like sometimes playing the Wild and sometimes only the Modern. Also take part in contest to win packs or cards which can help you to get started.
