Does Winning Games affected with new Energy Changes

Splinterlands have introduced a new Energy system for playing the game where you have 50 energy, and every game (win or less) will cost you one energy. 50 is the maximum limit where the energy gets recharge every hour. So that means you can play mimimum 24 games every day. But you can increase your energy after paying DEC, which is different for different leagues. Like for Bronze it is 1 Dec per energy whereas for Silver it is 10 Dec per energy.

I think this is a very good change to keep track of how many games you can play without paying anything. But does it actually affecting how much you can win. For example, you can play 24 games every day. If you win 12, taking half of the total then you can get to the 4 to 7 chest every day. Mind it that is if you win atleast 12 games.

Now before this change people usually can get to the 8 to 10 chests everyday very easily. So since the energy bar affected the chests, players actually wants to win more games now. Because when you win more games you can get more chests. And because of that reason, the players which have not so great cards are losing much.

In my case from the last 3 seasons, I was doing good in terms of number if season rewards. But this is affected in this season, because now I am facing quite a strong opponents, as they want to win more games.

Looking at the leaderboard of silver league, the first position have less than 2500 points but in the previous seasons this points used to be in the range of 3000. So yeah energy does have done some problem to the people who used to win every now and then.

So the best way to overcome this to change the strategy. I feel, this season I will not be able to earn so many chest rewards as the last seasons but still will try to win as much as possible.
