Newest Changes on Splinterlands - How it will impact me

First of all, I am happy to share that I have started playing in the Silver 1 from last season as I have crossed 70K CP and thus my RP earned from each and every game won will be increasing and thus can help me to get more chests in the season. There will be no change as such in the league rewards but still getting more chests at the end of the season means I can get more chances to pull up some amazing rewards if I am lucky.

It took me almost 9 months to reach from Silver 2 to Silver 1 and hopefully, I will reach Gold 3 in less than that time. In the recent Splinterlands Post, they have mentioned that there will be some changes in the league status.

Thus it is actually good news for me because then being in silver 1 I do not have to go back to the bronze one and can continue to play in the silver league. So that means I can play from the first day in the silver league and try to get more chests at the end of the month.

There is some mana related as well as some new player-related changes which actually do not affect me much so I have not thought about any impact on me as such.

There was one more update 2 days back about the Market Listing Fees & Expiration where they have mentioned that we have to pay 1 DEC as fees for the market listing and rental price and thus every listing will have an expiration of 30 days. To be honest, it does not affect me much because I usually do not sell or rent out my cards. But again having 1 DEC as fees for rentals is not good at all. What if my card is getting only 0.1 DEC per day and in 30 days I will get only 3 DEC which is again not guaranteed and I have to pay 1 DEC that means my income will reduce substantially.

With this change, a lot of people will not give cards for rent and thus increase the price of the cards mainly in the rent scenario. I have taken rent sometimes and I find the market price is competitive thus with this change, I am not sure if it will remain much competitive or not.

Also, there was a last Summoner who relieved in the Chaos Legion pack and I am not sure if I will able to get it or not because my Chaos Pack was not that much where I will be eligible for it. But looking at the card it seems to be a great one and everyone would hope to get one in their assets.

These changes do affect me as a player but not that much, at least one is a positive one for me and I am hopeful that with that change I can get more chests rewards at the end of the season. I can see the Splinterlands team is coming up with new and exciting changes for everyone and this is good for the game altogether.
