Splinterlands Season Report

This is the first season report for the new year i.e. 2023. Let's hope in 2023 the value of the Splinterlands assets should increase drastically and we all can earn a considerable amount of money from it. This is possible if the Splinterlands team continue evolving the game as well as giving the chance for the newcomers to earn from the game as well as keep adding new features to the game. To be honest, if a new player joins today, it will be a daunting task for him to actually understand every bit and piece of the game. But again if he wants to learn and earn he can do that in no time since there are so many tutorials or how-to guides is there on Hive itself.

I target to get 50 chests per season but failed to achieve it from the last 4-5 seasons and thus could only get around 40. This time was different and was able to get to 48 but again 2 less than the target I have set for myself. I was available to play the game this time but was mainly losing. I am not sure if they are bots or the actual players but I guess their strategy is top notch and every line-up is getting defeated.

I do have to change my strategy from time to time actually to win the game. And because of that, I was not able to play much for the focus at hand and thus my RP was less. So from this season, I need to actually find a strategy to win more games and I have started working towards it. Might be I need to buy some older cards that a lot of opponents are using to actually nullify their gem play.

So I have got around 30 Common, 6 Rare and 2 Epic in this whole season, and I have not got any Gold card foil and the total burn value is around 470 for common. Similarly, I have gotten around 29 Legendary Potions and 29 Alchemy potions this season, and the total SPS received is 52 SPS. And I have also earned around 416 Merits. This season was good in terms of rewards not that I have earned gold cards but I have got 2 Chaos Packs which is great, to be honest. The gold cards have become scarce for me as I have not got any gold cards in the whole season. Might be for me gold is not glittering at all.

So I thought of trying my luck in opening the pack and seeing if I can get the gold cards or some epic or legendary cards. To my surprise, I actually have got one common gold card so yeah one way or the other at least I have got the gold card this season. It is not that a great opening but still lot better than most o my openings.

Along with that, I am continuously staking the SPS which I am earning as well as getting from the liquidity poos and thus is continuously growing for me. I have set myself a goal of 5K SPS and hopefully, in a few days I will be able to get it.
