Splinterlands weekly challenge, Elven Cutthroat!

Hi splinterlanders!

For this weeks challenge we are talking about Elven Cutthrout a card that is not very much looked at but can be very good in certain situations!

The Elven Cutthroat costs 3 mana and has 1 melee atack , 3 speed , 1 health and has the sneak ability this makes it so she can atack from every positions wich can be very handy. As everyone can see this is not a very good stand alone card but can be very good when used beside other cards. The fire summoner malric inferno and the life monster silvershield knight are 2 very good examples of this, but also the demented shark a less popular card works really well with this.

The gameplan while using this card is to run a lot of sneak atackers to blow up their backline. This can work very good because people don't really expect all the sneak damage and don't put protection in the back.

Here is one of my battles using the elven cutthroat!
Round 1
image.png
It's a melee only match so the Elven Cutthroat works really well here. I Picked the fire summoner to buff up her atack and picked serpentine spy and kobolt miner for more backline damage. His Nectar Queen should be the carry but he is in the second position so he can't atack. THis is really good for us because we can already take some of it's health away because of our sneaks.

Round 2
image.png
The stonesplitter orc and the serpentine spy died. But the Nectar Queen couldnt atack first round and he was damaged by 4 because of my 2 melee atackers. Now the nectar queen is the only one alive and it should be an ez win.
Round 3

Lucky for us the nectar queen didn't dodge any atacks. This resulted in a pretty easy win for us.

This maybe wasnt the perfect example but as u can see the Elven cutthroat can be pretty good if u combine her with good cards. So i would say give Elven Cutthroat a chance. I hope this was helpful to some of u, bye!

Hello, @coolegast8! This is @jcrodriguez from @OCD team.

We saw that you already posted your first post here in Hive! Congratulations and welcome!

I also play splinterlands. Welcome to the best platform and the best game on this blockchain. Maybe we will cross paths in a tournament or clan battle. It is your first post. It is important that you make an introduction to the community, is my suggestion.

As a sample of what an intro post is, you can refer to this intro post for reference:

Keeping Up With the Buzz - My Introduction to the Hive Community

There's no specific format on how you do your intro post, but there is some suggested content that we would love to see in your post. Information like who are you and where you're from, how did you discover Hive or who invited you, what types of content you want to see here and the types that you want to produce, and what are your expectations in this platform. There's no pressure on this. You can choose whatever information you would like to share.

You can explore the communities that you may like in this post: OCD Communities Incubation Program. There is a wide variety of topics, you are sure to find the right communities for your content.

You may encounter RC (Resource Credits) issues when trying to comment/post because you don't have enough Hive Power in your account yet. You can fix this with a one week temporary delegation through the Gift Giver Site. Another solution is for the person who recommended Hive to delegate some Hive Power to you.

If you are looking for tips and information as a Hive newbie, click here: newbie guide. They are easy to understand and useful for learning how the platform ecosystem works.

Please be aware that Hive is a bit different from other social media platforms since you are monetizing your blog, so it is important not to include content that you don't own without sources (and it shouldn't exceed 50% of the post). For more information, check this post - Why and How People Abuse and Plagiarise by hivewatchers.

If you have questions or concerns, you can hop into OCD's Discord server and we'll gladly answer your questions.

Lovesniper will follow you, we hope to see your presentation post soon!
