Splinterlands Battles - Effect of Bot Blocking - Courtesy of Proposal #28

If you are a Splinterlads battler, you might be aware by this time that, the bots have been banned from being used in Modern battles, thanks to the proposal #28 by @theukm.

There was a long discussion and the proposal got modified multiple times and finally got passed.

The bots have been banned from 25th July from usage for Modern battles and the effect is clearly visible as in the screenshot data taken from stats shared on @peakmonsters page.

As we can see, the blue lines shows the battles in modern format and purple ones shows the details of wild format.

The decline in blue line i.e. modern battles since 25th shows that, most of the battles were fought in modern using the bots and all of a sudden, the wild battle count has increased drastically since same day sowing that, now most of the users are battling in wild using bots.

Interestingly, the rewards in modern leagues have gone up even though the booster values is way below compared to wild league as the number of players in modern league will be less after most of the players using wild format to continue utilizing the bot.

The proposal was supported by Yabapmatt himself as he suggested changes to the proposal as shared in above screenshot and that is a welcome move as the bot ban has been a long pending request from the players who wants to play the battles against humans and that's quite understandable as it was no fun to battle against bot and lose most of the time.

Well, this measure seems to be a fair One as the bot players still get a chance to play with bots in wild format and people who wanted a bot ban are also happy as they get to play in modern league without any bot involved.

As we can see above, with a booster multiplier of 8.65 in wild format in gold league yields a reward of approximately 1.1 SPS per battle with the same splinter (One for the same focus battle used in modern format)

While the One shown here above is for Modern format, where the booster multiplier value is 6.39 as against the 8.65 for the Wild format and the league here is modern and as we can see, the reward of SPS almost 3 times with exact value being 2.990 SPS per battle

While this difference may get evened out as more and more players will switch to Modern in a quest to battle with human players instead of bots, but, for now, it seems to be a good idea to battle it out in Modern if we have a decent deck for the same!!!

I play with 6 accounts as I got multiple decks and play mostly in wild format since the beginning except for 2 accounts which have only Chaos Legion cards mostly and I am a happy customer right now to battle manually for those 2 accounts and earn more SPS as long as possible before it gets normal.
