Splinterlands - Investment Into Chaos Legion, Networth and What Next

Ever since the Splinterlands started, there are very less days I didn't play and I am kinda addicted to this and I keep playing from 4 different accounts!!!!

The game still holds it's attraction inspite of going thru many changes and releasing 7 (infact 8 including Gladius cards) versions including the latest Chaos Legion.

I couldn't invest much into the initial versions of Alpha/Beta as I was still a newbie at that time, but the subsequent versions of Untamed and Dice gave me a chance to invest a little more and achieve the status of maverick.

But, it's the Chaos Legion version where I have already invested about $1500 with details as below:

Packs purchased: 200 --> 200 * $4= $800
Potions: Legendary: 1000 --> 1000 * $0.04 = $40
Potions: Alchemy: 1000 --> 1000 * $0.05 = $50
Cost of Voucher (approx $15/Voucher at that time) --> 200*15 = $3000

In Total --> $3890!!!!

Well, I can admit that, I didn't make any investment into Vouchers except that the SPS has to be staked; So, if I take out that cost, it will be close to $900 of investment into Chaos Legion packs from First pre-sale and the returns I have got so far are as below:

Airdropped Doctor Blight --> 5 regular cards --> 5 * (current market price) $93 = $465
Current value of all Chaos Legion Cards --> $1688

This $1688 includes the cost of Doctor Blight as well and if I minus that, it will approximately $1200 which means approximately $300 returns on $900 investment and that is One Third of the investment or simply put 33% returns!!!!!

As we can see, the prices of cards are gradually going down and people have already started talking about the hype of Splinterlands getting decreased.

Whatever it is, the game still rules and I continue to be a loyal battler :)

What Next?

The Second presale is underway started on 8th December and I am more excited to be part of Second airdrop and hence, want to purchase the packs using vouchers only as part of Second presale.

Per the vouchers getting dropped to me(we can see details from above screenshot), I am getting about 14 vouchers a day based on my SPS staking close to 45K and here are further calculations about the amount I will have to invest:

Planned packs purchase: 500 (I am still optimistic about the money to be arranged for this :) )
Packs I will get (including 75 bonus): 575

Cost of each pack (ofcourse Credits worth $4 per pack): $4
Total cost of packs: $2000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (this will be the biggest investment into Cryptos/NFT's)
Cost of potions (575 * 5 = 2875 potions in total):
Legendary potions: 2875*0.04 = $115
Alchemy potions: $145

In Total: $2260

Well, as I said, this will be the biggest investment into Cryptos and I assume the returns will be proportional as in First presale packs returns I got and I just hope there will still be enough Legendary and epic ones to give the returns on investment.

I have been staking the SPS whatever I have been earning on 4 accounts I play and I am getting close to my goal of 50K staking and as it stands, I have around 45K staked and we can see that staking rewards of above 50 SPS per day.

At the current price of SPS ($0.24 approximately), I am earning about $12 as staking reward.

The price of SPS is pegged right now from it's high of $0.8/SPS and this is understandable that the people will be eager to buy more Credits to get ready for Second pre-sale packs purchase and SPS price most probably will move up.

The only disappointment so far with Chaos Legion is that, I couldn't get a single Gold Foiled Legendary and I am just hoping that, I will get get more than One from the planned 575 packs I will be getting from pre-sale 2.

Wow!! the Chaos Legion will definitely create chaos as we get ready to purchase the packs for Second pre-sale and the general sale after that, will be way bigger than the 2 pre-sales and allows more people (who couldn't get much vouchers) to purchase the packs without worrying about vouchers as the general sale doesn't need vouchers.

I just continue to battle and keep purchasing packs as and when I could and take my Splinterlands networth above $100000from current position of about $65K.
