When exchanging DEC to wait for Monday and buy more CUB, I noticed something very interesting about fees
After I checked the announcement of the launch of the DEC farm on CubDefi.com and also of the DEC Bridge for Binance Smart Chain (BSC), I saw a great partner there between LeoFinance and Splinterlands. That's what I like to see on Hive blockchain, the more partnerships that add value, the better for all of us.
There are a number of players / investors who have enough DEC to leave them leaning sideways in their account of no use. How about from now on putting them to work for you? At this point, the pool has $226,814 and I believe that in the coming weeks that amount will increase.
For those who do not know, since the announcement and launch of CubDefi.com I am constantly selling Splinterlands cards, for some this can be a "mistake" because in the future the new expansion with the lands may add even more value to some cards.
But what they don't know is that I had an alt account and in addition to duplicate cards, I have many that I hardly use. So it's been easy and fun to see that my cards that I held for a long time without much use, can now help me to grow more CUB for me. It's money again working for you and it's like a song in my ears.
So following some guides on how to proceed in taking my DEC to CubDefi.com, I checked some posts and found the @blind-spo post very interesting and detailed. Anyone who wants to check it out can check it out here.
As I am fearful and I am not ashamed to say that (lol), DeFi for me is being the novelty of 2021 for me and I am always trying to better understand this new universe, because as we know it is not just taking your money, adding liquidity, stake and ready ... every investment has its degree of risk and I must always be aware of it.
So I did the whole procedure, added my BSC address in Splinterlands which is quite simple and sent 1 satoshi to my MetaMask account. Well, I’m going to be honest with you, I hadn’t seen the DEC arrive. I was thoughtful in a few seconds and remembered that I should add DEC to my account.
To do this is quite simple, go to:
1 - Add token
2 - Then go to Custom Token
3 - Now add the "contract address" of DEC, there will give all the additional information of the token as symbol and decimals.

Okay, before sending any DEC you should do this first so you don't have to worry unnecessarily like I did :)
With what I gained by playing and selling some cards in the last few days, I got a total of DEC and to wait for some "supposed" eviction tomorrow, I changed everything for 26.463 BUSD. Well, it's not a lot of US dollars but I can buy some CUBs already and that makes me happy because I see each CUB is worth $50 and any value below that is worth buying to accumulate.
About fees
Now one thing I realized was that when taking DEC to the BSC bridge, we did not pay any fees. This is something very interesting because whoever wants to send LEO and wrap it, knows that any amount of the transfer we pay 1 LEO, many will say that it is nothing close to what they paid in the Gas fees on the ETH platform, but not everyone is able to keep paying several farm and den fees more than once a day.
For those who prefer, you can choose DEC to make these transfers now and it's cool that we have another option to send our second layer tokens to CubDefi.com. I can't wait to see more farms for bLEO and also of course, HIVE can participate in the "party".

Então seguindo alguns guias de como proceder em levar meu DEC para CubDefi.com, conferi alguns posts e achei bem interessante e detalhado o post do @blind-spo. Quem quiser conferir melhor pode verificar aqui.
Como eu sou medroso e não tenho vergonha de dizer isso (lol), DeFi para mim está sendo a novidade de 2021 para mim e sempre estou tentando compreender melhor esse novo universo, pois como sabemos não é simplesmente pegar seu dinheiro, adicionar liquidez, stake e pronto... todo investimento tem seu grau de risco e devo está sempre ciente disso.

Para fazer isso é bastante simples, vá em:
1 - Adicionar token
2 - Vá em seguida em Token personalizado
3 - Agora adicione o "contract address" de DEC, lá dará todas as informações adicionais do token como símbolo e decimais.

Pronto, antes de enviar qualquer DEC deverá fazer isso primeiro para não se preocupar desnecessariamente como eu fiz :)
Com o que ganhei jogando e vendendo alguns cards nos ultimos dias, consegui um total de DEC e para aguardar algum "suposto" despejo amanhã, troquei tudo por 26.463 BUSD. Bem, não são muitos dólares americanos mas já dá para comprar alguns CUB e isso já me deixa satisfeito pois vejo cada CUB valer $50 e qualquer valor abaixo disso vale a pena comprar para acumular.
Sobre taxas
Agora uma coisa que percebi foi que ao levar DEC para a ponte BSC, não pagamos nenhuma taxa. Isso é algo bem interessante pois quem pretende enviar LEO e embrulhar, sabe que qualquer quantidade da transferência pagamos 1 LEO, muitos vão dizer que não é nada perto do que pagavam nas taxas de Gas na plataforma ETH, mas nem todos tem condições de ficar pagando várias taxas em farm e den mais de uma vez ao dia.
Para quem preferir, poderá escolher DEC para fazer essas transferências agora e é legal ganharmos mais uma opção de enviar nossos tokens de segunda camada para o CubDefi.com. Mal posso esperar para ver mais farms para bLEO e também é claro, HIVE possa participar da "festa".

Free transfers always sound quite tempting. I have wanted to look into Splinterlands, but never quite got the chance. Dec is a token I would look into in the future, the animation on the game alone is quite impressive, probably means there is a lot of potential for the platform.

Yes it's true and I can guarantee you that Splinterlands is one of the best Hive blockchain-based games.
With the launch of the new expansion that is scheduled for this year, the game will be even better.

Where is that exchange/swap image from?
I have DEC but no BUSD so i thought I couldn't do the DeFi. 😕

Well, I used the exchange to exchange DEC for BUSD.
https://exchange.cubdefi.com/#/swap
You need to switch half of your DEC to BUSD first and then add liquidity, so you can choose the DEC-BUSD farm.

I had absolutely no idea I could do this. I've read a ton of posts and either I missed it no-one else mentioned it. I thought I had to buy BUSD and that is why I didn't get in the farm.
Now I know I can swap DEC for BUSD I'll give it a go.

ENGAGEtokens.I've sent some DEC to the pool. Will not sell cards and probably will try to make use of all cards so that they produce even more DECs as I sleep. Let's see.

That's the idea, making our DEC more profitable and making them work for us.
