My daily Splinterlands battle journal!!! Episode 012 Year 2023

I got a pack today!!! Yay! I also had an improvement in my daily performance, and of course, I opened the rewarded pack!

My yesterday's 11 rewarded chests had 0.361 SPS, 38 merits, two Legendary Potions, a Pelacor Conjurer, a Blood Maker, a Merdhampir, a rare Venari Wavesmith and an absolutely amazing Chaos Legion pack!!! So awesome!!!

I had a Disable focus today, and it was very good! I won 20 of 28 battles for a 71.4% win rate, and I got for them 2.706 SPS. I also hit 2,374 rating points in Wild format! Wow!!! Amazing!!!

I will have for tomorrow 12 reward chests! Cool! I also got three additional End of Season (EOS) reward chests, 68 in total! Pretty close to 70 now!!! However, there's only two days left for the upcoming EOS. I don't know if I'll be able to get more than that, though. Well, we will see!

Today's reward pack had a Gargoya Scrapper, a Stitch Leech, a Goblin Tower, a Mycelic Morphoid, and a Disintegrator. A Pretty standard pack, but with some classics like the Tower and the Gargoya. Some of them rent out very well, too! I can't complain, really!

I will show you today another interesting battle. This is like a second part about Rumancer Atuat. However, this time I want to highlight his "Forcefield" ability.

This battle had an "Aim True" ruleset, in which every range weapon attack always hit their target. For this reason, I chose to take down my opponent's range weapons firepower, and as Fire was the only Splinter left out, my next option was to use Quix the Devious who decreases range weapon attacks and speed in -1 each. As soon as I saw the mana cap was 58, I thought immediately he was going to use big range weapon cards, and of course, a General Sloan summoner. So, I paired Quix with Life, and added Atuat as a secondary debuff with his "Headwinds" ability, which does the same as Quix, but only with range weapons. Additionally, Rumancer Atuat possesses Forcefield, which consists in taking only a +1 damage for every monster with +5 damage attack. This is very useful, specially if my opponent uses big sneak monsters like Sand Worm. For that reason, I set Rumancer always in the back. Nevertheless, this could be a flaw, too. Mostly because it makes him vulnerable against smaller sneak monsters with certain characteristics like "Double Strike", for instance. So, watch out! This was one of those amazing battling days that I always love to play! I enjoyed a lot and I got lots of great rewards. I miss getting 14 or more chests, but at this point of the season, it makes it almost impossible. You would need to win almost every battle, non-stop!
