My daily Splinterlands battle journal!!! Episode 019 Year 2023

Hi, everybody! Sorry for not having done a daily journal yesterday! I was too tired and had lots of things on my mind, but I did play my focus and it was a great day! Thankfully, today was a much interesting day and I bring you a briefing about my past two days! Let's begin!

First of all, yesterday I had 14 reward chests. I made 13 in a day, and then the next day I earned another one using my Death Focus. My two days ago 10 rewards chests had 0.123 SPS, 57 merits, six Legendary Potions, a Vampire Bat, a Merdhampir, a rare Venari Bonesmith, and a rare Venari Wavesmith! So cool! Two rares and enough potions to open a pack!

My yesterday's 14 reward chest had 0.319 SPS, 35 merits, six Alchemy Potions, two Merdhampir, a Blood Maker and a legendary Venator Kinjo!!! Oh, man! How I love this card! You will be missed, Kinjo friend!!! This is like a good-bye gift from you!

Speaking about my battling days, they were pretty cool, actually! As I told you before, I had yesterday a Death focus, and today it was Defend. Both were pretty different, and I got to the conclusion that I got much better chances to get chests when my focus is a Splinter than one where I need to use only certain cards. Nevertheless, today wasn't difficult, at all! For my Death focus, I won 21 of 27 battles for a 77.8% win rate, and today I won 19 of 29 for a 65.5% win rate. In total, my performance this week was 69.89% win rate! That's so cool! I felt very comfortable playing using Possibilus the Wise and that maybe help me a bit to win more often. Maybe it's a placebo effect, I really don't know. I hit today 2,100 rating points in Wild, and I won yesterday 6.508 SPS and today 7.177 SPS for those battles. Absolutely, nuts!

Tomorrow, I will have 12 reward chests, and for my next End of Season, I won 18 reward chests these past two days, 45 in total! Simply, amazing!

In other news, I got this week 77 daily reward chests in total. In there, I got 18 cards: 13 common, four rare and one Legendary! Those cards alone gave me 645 collection power (CP), which is amazing! I also earned this week renting out my CP excess 1,911 DEC that is almost $1.3 USD. So nice! I love to get passive income! Many will consider this figure non-consequential, but I disagree. A penny is a penny and without one you couldn't ride a bus or buy a loaf of bread. I feel really blessed about it! Although I wish that I could increase my game income, I'm convinced that's something that it will come in time. I'm sure of it!

The pack I opened yesterday had a Radiated Scorcher, a Chaos Agent, a Lava Spider, a Xenith Archer and a Deeplurker!!! Those are cool cards!!!

Today I woke up with the surprise that I won two regular foil 1 BCX Arkemis the Bear, or as we in the community call him fondly "Salty Bear"! Absolutely amazing! I got an interesting battle with "Holy Protection" and "Super Sneak" rulesets. The first one assigns a Divine Shield ability to every card in the board, having thus a one-hit protection. The mana cap was 29 and only Water and Earth Splinters weren't allowed. I chose Life because I love Jared Scar in this kind of rulesets, and I trust that he always do maximum damage with Super Sneak, and so did he! Due to the Holy Protection ruleset, he didn't finish the game faster, but it was amazing. Unfortunately, you didn't seem to use HIVE, and I see in your HIVE-Engine, you use the Arch mage bot, which is very sophisticated and not a farmer bot, at all. It's more an automated playing tool. Nevertheless, I'm not sure if I won against you or against the butler. For that reason, I sent you only 500 SBT. GG!

These past two days were amazing and I felt very good playing them. But, I dread the day when the performance goes down. However, that's life! One day you are up and pumped and the other you go downhill. We should not fear because everything shall pass and that's a promise that fills me with joy.
