Win 1600 DEC - Suggestion on how to make tournaments more attractive
Perhaps I became spoiled and do not always participate in tournaments for beginners, bronze and silver leagues. But, diamond and gold tournaments, along with tournaments of gold foil and alpha cards, I try to attend all the time. Today I was surprised by the relatively low starting number of tournament participants - 57. In my opinion, the main reason for the lack of desire to participate in many is the reasonable assumption that, according to the results of the tournament, they do not receive any rewards. Given the fact that the prizes 32, 25 people spent their time in vain. Some of them won in the first round and were worthy of receiving rewards.
How to make everyone want to participate in all tournaments? while leaving the remuneration fund unchanged. Previously, I wanted to have rewards in the form of DEC for victories in tournament matches, but I understand perfectly well that DEC accruals are tied to cards and ratings, and there is no point in redoing this only for tournaments.
During the tournament, another idea came to me, what if ENERGY CAPTURE RATE will be restored for victorious matches in tournaments. Further it is already possible to play depending on the tournament. I think a 1% recovery is a normal reward for winning. The% recovery may vary depending on the rank of the tournament (beginner, bronze, silver, etc.).
I think such changes can make tournaments even more joyful events, even for those who stopped a step away from the prize places. Increasing% ENERGY CAPTURE RATE can increase the number of daily games played, which can also be very useful.
Throughout the tournament, I won 11 victories and 5 defeats, three of which in the final.

I just wish more prizes didn’t go out from 17-32 than what 1st - 16th is paid!
I would rather have twice as many tournaments at PEAK hours that pay 1-16 than half as many that I mostly miss because it is like 3am or 7am @steemmonsters
And I have such a problem.
There's no such thing as "peak hours" because Steem Monsters has a global playerbase and what is a convenient time for some is bound to be inconvenient for others across the world. I think Steem Monsters actually does a pretty good job by having tournaments throughout the day at various times. Though even then there are some players who feel like tournaments aren't available at times convenient for them!
I skip some 3 AM and 7 AM tournaments but that's fine, especially because it's not really an afternoon or evening tournament for other time zones.

Example, in this tournament I wins 11 fights. According to my idea, this is 11 * X% = Y%.
X is the percent recovery of ENERGY CAPTURE RATE for one victory in a duel.
Y is the total percentage of recovered ENERGY CAPTURE RATE.

I think the idea of replenishing the DEC energy capture rate is creative. However, just remember that DEC is a zero-sum game since everyone is drawing from the same limited pool. If some players get their DEC rate replenished, that means they will be getting more DEC and everyone else will be getting less. As a result, this solution will advantage the tournament players. I imagine the players who mainly do Ranked but not tournaments might object to such a solution.
