This post has been formatted for best viewing on the Ecency frontend! It's a submission to the Weekly Challenge Splinterlands!

Those who follow my posts know that I really like the weekly challenges and I keep switching between card reviews and complete compositions! Now with the battle challenge change, I've verified that it's still explicitly valid to share battles within the weekly media challenge. I think it's very productive, and serves the purpose of getting the game into the trending topics.

Today I'm going to show you a battle between gladiators, so let's go!

CRAZY'S STRATEGIC ROADMAP

1. BATTLE HISTORY ANALYSIS

The first point to be analyzed is the basic strategy for Splinterlands lovers, and consists of checking the opponent's history of previous battles. In this case my opponent came from battles with splinter Earth, with Obsidian level 2. Summoners were either level 2 or 3, which could be considered weak to Silver 1, which is where I am after the season reset.

So I already expected an opponent focused on magic.

2. RULESET ANALYSIS

The second point whose analysis must be done is regarding RuleSet. This will vary from game to game and there is no easy recipe, you'll just learn by doing.

Generally the Ruleset made me think about how to counter, but the battle rule only required splinter Earth. Obviously, I could use some magic-resistant monster in first position, but that's what the opponent already expects me to do.

The Knock Out skill is not a problem as I know most opponent monsters will be magic. And mine, probably too!

3. SUMMON AVAILABILITY

Ruleset analysis is compounded in part by the availability of invokers. What the opponent will use, and what I have available. Since I only play in Modern mode, keep in mind that some summoners and cards are not available.

My main invokers are:

• Kelya Frendul level 5, my own.
  My main investment in the game so far.

• Thaddius Brood level 5, located.
  My favorite, because this element is what I've dedicated the most to since launch. But I still couldn't get him to the proper level.

• General Sloam level 4, located.
  The Life splinter was never my favorite, so.. I just have to have it.

• Obsidian level 3, located.
  It's been enough to sustain the Earth element battles, considering that it's not my goal to acquire cards from this element at the moment.

• Bortus level 3, located.
  A differential to be able to exploit careless opponents who insist on using Kelya in situations that exploit magic.

• Brighton Bloom level 3, located.
  Unfortunately I lost my level 4 lease and now I couldn't pay for the most suitable one.

The splinters restriction leaves me with no choice, being called Obsidian.

4. YOUR STRATEGIES

The fourth point I recommend looking at is exploring your game strategies. Do you have any?

I have several strategies, and I even made a post with all of them. But now I'm proving our feelings, and today I was able to experience a battle using "regular" summoners and with the addition of the gladius card.

That is, today I'm trying out this new Ruleset called "Are you not entertained?"

Gladius cards are accessed by participating in Guilds. Just last month I joined an active Guild that allowed me to buy packs of Gladius cards using Merits. For this reason I have few letters.

My gladius card collection in the Earth splinter is as follows:

All at level 1 yet, because to buy more packs you have to participate in Brawl tournaments.

COMPOSING THE TIME

Due to the Ruleset forcing Earth, I'm expecting a magical opponent, so I start the lineup with Unicorn Mustang. In the second position comes the located Kron the Undiyng with its healing power. In third we have Goblin Thief located to carry out a possible sneak attack on the enemy rear.

The gladius card now appears, * Katrelba Gobson *, chosen to combo a Sneak damage, as it has double attack.

In fact the desired card would be Quora Towershead which is already known for its ability to double damage, physical and magical, with healing ability and Bloodlust. Practically a Kron of skirts.

Since I don't have that card, the plan is based on eliminating any opposing heals by attacking their rear. That is, the strategy is in the Sneak combo.

I went into battle expecting victory...

ADVERSARY TEAM

The opponent chose the summoner Obsidian level 1 and at first I already noticed that he did have and used the card Quora Towershead.

On the front line Grund deals double damage, followed by Quora, Regal Peryton, Goblin Psychic, Uloth Dhampir and Mycelic Splipspawn.

The opponent climbed very well and I had my strategy completely shaken.

By my count, I won't be able to get to his cure because his back has a lot of life points accumulated. We will see!

The image above shows the opening of Round 1, after the buffs of the summoners. I have a more evolved team, the opponent has a more dangerous team.

Still in the first round we see the Ground lose an attack, my tank eliminated, and the enemy rear as well. My Katrelba makes the elimination and gets her first stat upgrade.

The opening of the second round leaves me at risk because my front monsters have few life points, insufficient to hold the opposing gladiator.

However, this round I have Sundae Shaman doing triple damage, and he eliminates Ground.

One more attack with elimination and we have my gladiator with 4 points of physical damage:

Thanks to double healing, Kron regains enough hit points for one more rond.

Each gladiator performs an elimination, increasing his base points.

Thanks to the double attack, my gladiator lands the last blow on the opponent, overcoming the dreaded Quora!

POSTER ANALYSIS

The opponent didn't make visible mistakes, but a missed attack by Ground could have been the cause of his defeat.

It's very difficult to overcome the Quora card, I should also point out that I managed to prevent its healing due to the ability of the Goblin Psychic. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to being awarded this letter that has proven to be very strong.

On my team, the gladiator proved to be worthy of her place, and had four eliminations. Certainly when it is improved to level 3 it will be as dangerous as the most desired cards today.

Hoje vou mostrar para vocês uma batalha entre gladiadores, então vamos lá!

ROTEIRO ESTRATÉGICO DO CRAZY

1. ANÁLISE DO HISTÓRICO DE BATALHAS

O primeiro ponto a ser analisado trata-se da estratégia básica para amantes de Splinterlands, e consiste em verificar o histórico de batalhas anteriores do adversário. Neste caso meu adversário vinha de batalhas com splinter Earth, com Obsidian level 2. Os invocadores eram de level 2 ou 3, o que poderia ser considerado fraco para Prata 1, que é onde estou depois do reinício da temporada.

Então eu já esperava um adversário focado em magia.

2. ANÁLISE DO RULESET

O segundo ponto cuja análise deve ser feita é quanto ao RuleSet. Isso vai variar em cada partida e não tem uma receita fácil, você só vai aprender fazendo mesmo.

Geralmente o Ruleset me fez pensar em como fazer counter, porém a regra da batalha exigia unicamente splinter Earth. Obviamente, poderia usar na primeira posição algum monstro resistente à magia, mas isso é o adversário já espera que eu faça.

A habilidade Knock Out não é um problema pois sei que a maioria dos monstros adversário serão mágicos. E a minha, provavelmente tambem!

3. DISPONIBILIDADE DE INVOCADORES

A análise do Ruleset é composta em parte pela disponibilidade dos invocadores. O que o adversário vai utilizar, e o que eu tenho a disposição. Como eu jogo apenas no modo Modern, lembre-se que alguns invocadores e cards não estão disponíveis.

Meus principais invocadores são:

• Kelya Frendul level 5, meu próprio.
  Meu principal investimento no jogo até o momento.

• Thaddius Brood level 5, locado.
  Meu preferido, pois este elemento é o que mais me dediquei desde o lançamento. Porém ainda não consegui colocar ele no level adequado.

• General Sloam level 4, locado.
  O splinter Life nunca foi meu preferido, então.. só tenho por ter.

• Obsidian level 3, locado.
  Tem sido suficiente para sustentar as batalhas do elemento Earth, tendo em vista que não é meu objetivo adquirir cards deste elemento no momento.

• Bortus level 3, locado.
  Um diferencial para poder explorar adversários descuidados que insistem em utilizar a Kelya em situações que exploram magia.

• Brighton Bloom level 3, locado.
  Infelizmente perdi minha locação de level 4 e agora não consegui pagar pelo mais adequado.

A restrição dos splinters me deixa sem qualquer escolha, sendo chamada a Obsidian.

4. SUAS ESTRATÉGIAS

O quarto ponto ponto que eu recomendo analisar é explorar as suas estratégias de jogo. Você tem alguma?

Eu tenho várias estratégias, e até fiz uma postagem com todas elas. Mas agora estou provando nossas sensações, e hoje eu pude experimentar uma batalha usando invocadores "regulares" e com a adição da carta gladius.

Ou seja, hoje estou experimento este novo Ruleset chamado "Are you not entertained?"

As carta Gladius são acessadas através da participação em Guilds. Apenas no mês passado eu entrei em uma Guild ativa e que me permitiu comprar packs de cartas Gladius usando Merits. Por este motivo tenho poucas cartas.

Minha coleção de cards gladius no splinter Earth é a seguinte:

Todos em level 1 ainda, pois para comprar mais packs é preciso participar dos torneios Brawl.

COMPONDO O TIME

Devido ao Ruleset forçar Earth, estou esperando um adversário mágico, portanto inicio a escalação com o Unicorn Mustang. Na segunda posição vem o locado Kron the Undiyng com seu poder de cura. Em terceiro temos Goblin Thief locado para realizar um possível ataque furtivo na retaguarda inimiga.

A carta gladius aparece agora, Katrelba Gobson, escolhida para combar um dano Sneak, pois tem duplo ataque.

Na verdade o card desejado seria Quora Towershead que já é conhecida pela sua habilidade de duplo dano, físico e mágico, com habilidade de cura e Bloodlust. Praticamente um Kron de saias.

Como eu não tenho essa carta, o plano é baseado em eliminar eventual cura adversária atacando sua retaguarda. Ou seja, a estratégia é no combo de Sneak.

Fui para a batalha esperando a vitória...

TIME ADVERSÁRIO

O adversário escolheu o invocador Obsidian level 1 e de início já percebi que ele sim possuia e utilizou o card Quora Towershead.

Na linha de frente Grund dando duplo dano, seguido da Quora, Regal Peryton, Goblin Psychic, Uloth Dhampir e Mycelic Splipspawn.

O adversário escalou muito bem e eu tive minha estratégia completamente abalada.

Pelas minhas contas, não conseguirei chegar até sua cura pois a retaguarda dele tem muitos pontos de vida acumulados. Vamos ver!

BATALHA

A imagem acima mostra a abertura do Round 1, após os buffs dos invocadores. Eu tenho uma equipe mais evoluida, o adversário tem a equipe mais perigosa.

Ainda no primeiro round vemos o Ground perder um ataque, meu tanque eliminado, e a retaguarda inimiga também. A minha Katrelba faz a eliminação e ganha seu primeiro upgrade de status.

R O U N D

A abertura do segundo round me deixa em risco pois meus monstros da dianteira tem poucos pontos de vida, insuficientes para segurar a gladiadora adversária.

Contudo, neste round tenho Sundae Shaman causando o triplo de dano, e ele elimina Ground.

Mais um ataque com eliminação e temos minha gladiadora com 4 pontos de dano físico:

Graças à cura dupla, Kron recupera pontos de vida suficientes para mais um rond.

Cada gladiador realiza uma eliminação, aumentando seus pontos básicos.

R O U N D

Graças ao ataque duplo, minha gladiadora defere o último golpe no adversário, superando a temida Quora!

ANÁLISE POSTERIOR

O adversário não cometeu erros visíveis, porem um ataque perdido pelo Ground pode ter sido o causador da sua derrota.

É muito difícil superar o card Quora, ainda devo destacar que conseguir impedir sua cura devido a habilidade do Goblin Psychic. De qualquer forma, estou torcendo muito para ser agraciado com esta carta que se provou muito forte.

No meu time, a gladiadora provou ser merecedora de lugar, e fez quatro eliminações. Certamente quando estiver melhorada em level 3 será tão perigosa quanto os mais desejados cards da atualidade.
