Hey guys! From one day onwards things are getting better... I managed to reach the Silver 1 league and had some winning streaks. It's been tense! I'm still in the Silver 1 league and trying to move up! I don't know if I'll make it to the Gold league this time!

The last time I made a post Fast, Furious and CrazyPhantomBR I was saying that the Llama Kron combo still surpasses Quora.

A friend told me that without Llama the conversation would be different. Well, I keep that thought haunting me. By a coincidence of fate I ended up finding myself in a game that could clear up this story!

I managed to fit in a match without using Scared Llama Mage in conjunction with Kron the undying, and at the same time an opponent used Quora Towershead.

Did it work? Was it worth it?

RULESET ANALYSIS

Without further delay, let's get straight to the point!
The match in question featured the following Ruleset:

When we have Close Range, cards with ranged attacks become very dangerous as they start attacking from the first position. This greatly changes the dynamics of the game as we are used to and is a danger for those who are not paying attention! It also makes it easier for cards with Martyr to be placed at the front as they can eventually perform an attack before the sacrifice.

With the Ferocity rule, I tend to suffer a lot because I tend to ignore this battle rule. I don't know why but it's like it's nothing. And then I end up being careless with some aspects and suffer defeats.

Having only 24 Mana units available, I evaluate the possibility of taking the death combo Llama Kron, which I have rented. It's more than enough to take the main team and there may be room for a few surprises.

But today I was thinking about the possibilities of defeating Quora without using Llama and that's why I've been trying to adapt more to the Obsidian that I have rented, will it be today?

I ended up opting for the Obsidian level 4 summoner! that I have rented. Its 4 Mana cost is acceptable and I hope it's worth the investment! Its task is to enhance magical attacks, obviously. In my calculations, there are still 20 Mana points left to be invested.

On the front line, a card with a low cost, just 3 Mana, but which delivers good results. It's the favorite of the moment, the Fungus Flinger mushroom, which has the function of being sacrificed for the benefit of its colleague that comes right after. There are three mana points very well invested when this card enters the field. He's already at level 5!

In second place comes my main attacking card, Kron the Undying, rented at a high price, but it has been worth it. The matches have been so difficult and even using the Legendaries we have no guarantee of victory!

As a healing booster, the use of Goblin Psychic is mandatory! I'm very proud to have bought this card in gold foil and put it at level 4. Its usefulness at this level is to apply affliction, which prevents cards from being healed. It was worth every penny!

You may have noticed that I invested 23 Mana points, and I have 1 left. The decision not to use this point is due to the possible duel against the Bloodlust ability that Quora has. I usually make this decision. Today I was crazy and ended up using Mychelic Morphoid to watch the back. At least in the last position he is not the target of Quora...

But I got confused at this point and out of pure impulse I ended up taking the zero-cost card and placing it in the front position. Totally wrong!

We'll see if this plan leads me to victory!

ROUND 1

The image above shows the opening of the battle after the buffs and debuffs of summoners and monsters have been applied. I lost a speed point, which could be crucial.

The opponent opted for the card Quora Towershead in Gold foliage level 2. I just looked and thought that I really need my Goblin Psychic to activate the affliction, otherwise I'll be really screwed!

ROUND 2

Round 2 starts with Quora tuned and with my Goblin completely exposed to the opponent's Sneak attack. Luckily, in the first round he had a chance to attack Quora and cause distress.

ROUND 3

Now is when the real battle begins!
Doing the math, we see that Quora attacks first with its 6 speed points. If your melee attack hits, it will cause a total of 10 points of damage, insufficient to eliminate my Kron.

Game over for the opponent!

But let's continue the game, pretending that I'm not going to win...

My Goblin will be eliminated, but it has already fulfilled its role and Quora cannot be cured. What worries me is that the sneak attack could eliminate my Kron, but that won't happen due to Uraeus's speed being the second highest on the field, so it will attack after Quora, whether or not it eliminates my * Goblin* (indifferent).

Putting all this information together, we are absolutely certain that I won.

With a single life point on the field, the one who cannot die Kron rises from the ashes and eliminates everyone very easily.

CONCLUSION

Great!

The opponent bet on a standard strategy when using Quora and I made a mistake when using the zero-cost card! The opponent's intention to use his gladiator card to perform eliminations through the Bloodlust trick was efficient due to my own mistake, but it wouldn't have made any difference if I hadn't put the card there.

My strategy was superior thanks to Goblin Psychic who applied affliction at the first opportunity. He would have a second chance at this if he failed.

Without the affliction I would have lost.

So my strategy was very effective.
No chance for the opponent.
I was very satisfied!

Fala pessoal! De um dia pra cá as coisas estão ficando melhores... consegui atingir a liga Prata 1 e tive algumas sequências de vitórias. Tem sido tenso! Ainda estou na liga Prata 1 e apanhando para subir! Não sei se chegarei na liga Ouro desta vez!

A última vez que fiz uma postagem Fast, Furious and CrazyPhantomBR eu estava falando que o combo Llama Kron ainda supera Quora.

Um amigo me falou que sem a Llama a conversa seria diferente. Pois bem, eu fique com esse pensamento me assombrando. Por uma coincidência do destino acabei me deparando em uma partida que pode tirar a limpo essa história!

Consegui encaixar uma partida sem usar a Scared Llama Mage em conjunto com o Kron the undying, e ao mesmo tempo um adversário utilizou a Quora Towershead.

ANÁLISE DO RULESET

Sem mais demora vamos direto ao que interessa!
A partida em questão apresentou o seguinte Ruleset:

Quando temos Close Range, os cards com ataque a distância ficam muito perigosos pois passam a atacar desde a primeira posição. Isso muda muito a dinâmica do jogo como estamos acostumados e é um perigo para os desatentos! Também facilita para que cards com Martyr sejam alocados na frente pois eventualmente podem realizar algum ataque antes do sacrifício.

Já com a regra Ferocity eu costumo sofrer bastante pois minha tendência é ignorar esta regra de batalha. Não sei explicar o motivo mas é como se fosse nada. E ai eu acabo por ser descuidado com alguns aspectos e sofro derrotas.

Tendo apenas 24 unidades de Mana disponíveis, avalio a possibilidade de levar o combo da morte Llama Kron, que tenho alugado. É mais do que suficiente para levar a equipe principal e pode sobrar espaço para algumas surpresinhas.

Mas hoje estive pensando nas possibilidades de derrotar a Quora sem utilizar a Llama e por isto tenho tentado me adaptar mais à Obsidian que tenho alugada, será que vai ser hoje?

Acabei optando pelo invocador Obsidian level 4! que tenho alugado. Seu custo de 4 Mana é aceitável e espero que valha o investimento! Sua tarefa é potencializar os ataques mágicos, obviamente. Nas minhas contas, ainda restam 20 pontos de Mana para serem investidos.

Na linha de frente um card com custo baixo, apenas 3 Mana, mas que entrega bons resultados. É o queridinho da vez, o cogumelo Fungus Flinger, que tem a função de ser sacrificado em prol do seu colega que vem logo em seguida. São três pontos de mana muito bem investidos quando este card entra em campo. Ele já está em level 5!

Na segunda posição aparece meu principal card atacante, Kron the Undying, locado a um valor elevado, mas que tem valido a pena. As partidas tem sido tão difíceis e mesmo usando os lendários não temos garantia de vitória!

Como um reforço de cura é obrigatório o uso do Goblin Psychic! Eu tenho muito orgulho de ter comprado este card em folhagem ouro e tê-lo colocado em level 4. Sua utilidade neste level é aplicar aflição, que previne que cards sejam curados. Valeu cada centavo!

Você deve ter notado que investi 23 pontos de Mana, e está sobrando 1. A decisão de não usar esse ponto é devido ao eventual duelo contra a habilidade Bloodlust que a Quora possui. Geralmente tomo essa decisão. Hoje eu tava maluco e acabei usando o Mychelic Morphoid para cuidar da retaguarda. Pelo menos na última posição ele não é alvo da Quora...

Mas me atrapalhei nessa hora e por puro impulso acabei pegando o card de custo zero, e coloquei ele na posição frontal. Totalmente equivocado!

Veremos se esse plano me leva a vitória!

ROUND 1

A imagem acima mostra a abertura da batalha após os aplicados os buffs e debuffs dos invocadores e monstros. Perdi um ponto de velocidade, o que pode ser crucial.

O adversário optou pelo card Quora Towershead em folhagem Ouro level 2. Eu só fiquei olhando e pensando que preciso muito que meu Goblin Psychic ative a aflição, senão eu estarei muito ferrado!

ROUND 2

O round 2 inicia com a Quora tunada e com meu Goblin totalmente exposto ao ataque Sneak adversário. Por sorte, ainda no primeiro round ele teve uma chance de atacar a Quora e causar aflição.

ROUND 3

É agora que a verdadeira batalha inicia!
Fazendo as contas, vemos que a Quora ataca primeiro com seus 6 pontos de velocidade. Caso acerte seu ataque melee, causará no total 10 pontos de dano, insuficiente para eliminar meu Kron.

Fim de jogo para o adversário!

Mas vamos continuar a partida, fingindo que não vou vencer...

Meu Goblin será eliminado, mas ja cumpriu seu papel e Quora não poderá ser curada. O que me preocupa é que o ataque sneak pode vir a eliminar meu Kron, mas isso não acontecerá devido à velocidade do Uraeus ser a segunda maior em campo, potanto ele atacará depois da Quora, eliminando ou não meu Goblin (indiferente).

Juntando todas essas informações, temos certeza absoluta que eu venci.

Com um único ponto de vida em campo, aquele que não pode morrer Kron ressurge das cinzas e elimina todo mundo com muita facilidade.

CONCLUSÃO

Excelente!

O adversário apostou em uma estratégia padrão ao utilizar a Quora e eu cometi um erro ao utilizar o card de custo zero! A intenção do adversário em usar sua card gladiadora para realizar eliminações mediante o artifício Bloodlust foi eficiente devido ao meu próprio erro, mas não teria feito nenhuma diferença se eu não tivesse colocado o card lá.

A minha estratégia era superior graças ao Goblin Psychic que aplicou aflição na primeira oportunidade. Ele teria uma segunda chance para isto, caso falhasse.

Sem a aflição eu teria perdido.

Assim, minha estratégia foi muito efetiva.
Sem chance para o adversário.
Fiquei muito satisfeito!
