This season has been a little harder to climb the rankings. I'm finding many level 6 opponents in the Gold league. It has been like this since the restart, when I was relegated to Silver League 1.

Now that I'm holding on to Gold 2, I've been varying a little up, a little down, and since I don't have such evolved cards, the choice of strategy has been crucial.

Those who follow my posts know that I really like the weekly challenges and I keep switching between card reviews and complete compositions! I think it's very productive, and serves the purpose of putting the game in the trending topics.

Today I'm going to show you how to exploit the Equal Opportunity ruleset. The variant will be on the sacrifice strategy. I wrote a post where I detail some types of strategies. Today's post will serve as an example when I review the material.

PREVIOUS ANALYSIS

The first point to be analyzed is the basic strategy for Splinterlands lovers, and consists of checking the history of previous battles of the opponent. The opponent's five matches showed level 6 summoners in all splinters used. This meant that he would face a powerful opponent.

The second point whose analysis must be done is regarding the RuleSet. This will vary from game to game and there is no easy recipe, you'll just learn by doing.

My main invokers are:

• Kelya Frendul level 5, my own.
  My main investment in the game so far.
• Thaddius Brood level 5, my own.
  My favorite, because this element is what I've dedicated the most to since launch.

I've been handicapped by the splinter limitation and won't be able to play with my best teams.

The third point I recommend is to explore your game strategies. Do you have any?

There is a strategy that I call "mirror" which consists of playing with the same team as the opponent, and betting on victory by having more evolved cards, or betting on luck.

I can't count on the mirror strategy because my other summoners are not very evolved. Since I only play in Modern mode, keep in mind that some summoners and cards are not available.

But the opponent would continue to come with a level 6 team, with cards higher than mine, so I could only have a chance based on the strategy itself.

The decision was made and I decided to bet on the sacrifice strategy.

The Sacrifice Strategy encompasses many other situations, and was described by me even before the current Reward collection. I'm exploring the Martyr ability to show how it fits perfectly into this strategy, and for the first time I'm going to work on the combo:

With the availability of the new ability Martyr it was interesting to adapt the sacrifice strategy to include the literal sacrifice of a card in favor of upgrading the others. That's what the Martyr skill does, because when the card that has this skill is eliminated, it increases the life points, shield, speed and attack of the monsters that are next to it. In the case of the Earth spinter, the card with this ability is Fungus Flinger. He will be sacrificed.

The cards chosen to receive the status upgrade were Kron the Undying and Venari Knifer. Both are leased toor irisory values, which is why I have them available. They are usually canceled after a minimum of 2 days.

The choice of the two is obvious when you have them as an option. Kron has Heal ability and Venary will pull all attacks because as part of my strategy I chose him BEFORE the others so that his hitpoints were the lowest in my lineup. So the Equal Opportunity rule will play in my favor as his Thorns ability will be activated.

The Obsidian summoner I have available is rented at level 3, and will provide more attack to the power of Kron. Sacrifice will increase these points. So I hope to have a chance to inflict damage on the opposing team and overcome the lineup that will come with cards much more evolved than mine.

ADVERSARY TEAM

The opponent has chosen summoner Obsidian level 6. On the frontline a Mycelic Slipspawn level 1, followed by Venari Knifer level 5, Venari Scout level 1, the essential Goblin Psychic level 6 and finished off with the always dangerous classic Djinn Biljka level 2 and Regal Peryton level 4.

Only two opposing monsters had level 1, which made me worried. But the lineup had no star, no Neymar.

The image above shows the opening of Round 1, after the buffs of the summoners. In practice our differences are in the magicians only.

As planned, in my lineup the lowest life point is Martyr, who will die right away, serving as an upgrade for my monsters.

With Martyr points we see that Kron the Undying now has 5 points of magic attack. With the upgrade, it is impossible for the opponent to defeat me.

Everything goes as planned and the match ends with my Round 4 victory.

STATISTICAL ANALYSIS

The use of the skill Martyr does not require analysis, as it was a success. However, only ONE time the skill Thorns was triggered, which was below expectations. This maybe because the opposing team did not have other melee elements.

In any case, it is evident that the correct use of the Martyr ability can be the sufficient differential to guarantee victories even when the battles are discrepant between players of very different card levels.

Essa temporada esta sendo um pouco mais difícil de subir nos rankings. Estou encontrando muitos adversários level 6 na liga Gold. Foi assim desde o reinício, quando cheguei a ser rebaixado para liga Prata 1.

Agora que estou aguentando na Gold 2 tenho variado pouco a cima, pouco abaixo, e como não tenho cards tão evoluídos, a escolha da estratégia tem sido crucial.

Quem acompanha minhas postagens sabe que eu gosto muito dos desafios semanais e fico alternando entre análises de cards e de composições completas! Acredito que é bem produtivo, e serve ao propósito de colocar o game nos trending topics.

Hoje vou mostrar para vocês como explorar o ruleset Equal Opportunity. A variante vai ser na estratégia do sacrifício. Eu escrevi uma postagem onde detalho alguns tipos de estratégias. A postagem de hoje vai servir de exemplo quando eu revisar o material.

ANÁLISE PRÉVIA

O primeiro ponto a ser analisado trata-se da estratégia básica para amantes de Splinterlands, e consiste em verificar o histórico de batalhas anteriores do adversário. As cinco partidas do adversário mostravam invocadores level 6 em todos os splinters utilizados. Isso significava que enfrentaria um adversário poderoso.

O segundo ponto cuja análise deve ser feita é quanto ao RuleSet. Isso vai variar em cada partida e não tem uma receita fácil, você só vai aprender fazendo mesmo.

Meus principais invocadores são:

• Kelya Frendul level 5, própria.
  Meu principal investimento no jogo até o momento.
• Thaddius Brood level 5 próprio.
  Meu preferido, pois este elemento é o que mais me dediquei desde o lançamento.

Eu fui prejudicado pela limitação dos splinters e não terei condições de jogar com meus melhores times.

O terceiro ponto ponto que eu recomendo é explorar as suas estratégias de jogo. Você tem alguma?

Existe uma estratégia que eu chamo de "espelho" que consiste em jogar com o mesmo time que o adversário, e apostar na vitória por ter cards mais evoluídos, ou apostar na sorte mesmo.

Não posso contar com a estratégia espelho pois meus outros invocadores são pouco evoluídos. Como eu jogo apenas no modo Modern, lembre-se que alguns invocadores e cards não estão disponíveis.

Mas o adversário continuaria vindo com equipe level 6, com cards mais upados que os meus, portanto eu só poderia ter alguma chance na base da estratégia mesmo.

A decisão foi tomada e resolvi apostar na estratégia do sacrifício.

A Estratégia do Sacrifício compreende muitas outras situações, e foi descrita por mim antes mesmo da coleção Reward atual. Estou explorando a habilidade Martyr para mostrar como se encaixa perfeitamente nesta estratégia, e pela primeira vez vou trabalhar no combo:

Com a disponibilidade da nova habilidade Martyr ficou interessante adaptar a estratégia do sacrifício para abarcar o sacrifício literal de um card em benefício do upgrade dos demais. É isso que a habilidade Martyr faz, pois quando o card que possui essa habilidade é eliminado, ele aumenta os pontos de vida, escudo, velocidade e ataque dos monstros que estiverem ao seu lado. No caso do spinter Earth o card com esta habilidade é o Fungus Flinger. Ele será sacrificado.

Já os cards escolhidos para receber o upgrade de status foram o Kron the Undying e o Venari Knifer. Ambos estão alugados por valores irisórios, motivo pelo qual os tenho a disposição. Geralmente são cancelados após o tempo mínimo de 2 dias.

A escolha dos dois é obvia quando se tem eles como opção. O Kron tem habilidade Heal e o Venary vai puxar todos os ataques pois como parta da minha estratégia eu escollhi ele ANTES dos demais de forma que seus pontos de vida fossem o mais baixo da minha escalação. Assim a regra Equal Opportunity jogará a meu favor pois sua habilidade Thorns será ativada.

A invocadora Obsidian que tenho disponível está alugada em level 3, e fornecerá mais ataque ao poder do Kron. O sacrifício aumentará estes pontos. Assim eu espero ter chance de conseguir inflingir dano na equipe adversária e superar a escalação que virá com cards muito mais evoluídos do que os meus.

Fui para a batalha esperando pela derrota...

TIME ADVERSÁRIO

O adversário escolheu a invocadora Obsidian level 6. Na linha de frente um Mycelic Slipspawn level 1, seguido do Venari Knifer level 5, Venari Scout level 1, o essencial Goblin Psychic level 6 e finalizou com o sempre perigoso clássico Djinn Biljka level 2 e Regal Peryton level 4.

Apenas dois monstros adversários tinham level 1, o que me deixou preocupado. Porém a escalação não tinha nenhuma estrela, nenhum Neymar.

A imagem acima mostra a abertura do Round 1, após os buffs dos invocadores. Na prática nossas diferenças estão nos mágicos apenas.

Conforme planejado, em minha escalação o menor ponto de vida é do Martyr, que morrerá logo de início, servindo de upgrade para os meus monstros.

Com os pontos do Martyr vemos que Kron the Undying agora tem 5 pontos de ataque mágico. Com o upgrade, fica impossível o adversário me derrotar.

Tudo sai como planejado e a partida acaba com a minha vitória no Round 4.

ANÁLISE ESTATÍSTICA

O uso da habilidade Martyr não demanda análise, pois foi um sucesso. Contudo, apenas por UMA vez foi acionada a habilidade Thorns, o que ficou abaixo da expectativa. Isso talvez pelo time adversário não ter contado com outros elementos melee.

De qualquer forma fica evidente que o uso correto da habilidade Martyr pode ser o diferencial suficiente para garantir vitórias mesmo quando as batalhas forem discrepantes entre jogadores de níveis de cartas muito diferentes.
