My First Entry for Splinterlands Weekly Art Contest | Week 258

Hi @splinterlands Fam! This is my first time to make an entry in this contest. I've been playing Splinterlands for more than 2 years but didn't had the chance to do it sooner because I'm consistently busy at work.
And to be honest, this is my personal artwork for such a long time. Only splinterlands inspired me to do art again! I really love the game and it helped me a lot to escape the busy work life.

Anyway let's go to the process of my entry, one of my favorite Legendary Monster, CORNEALUS!

The Idea of this piece is from Cornealus Lore:
-"The large, floating eyeball monster known as Cornealus has strange magical powers and can see anything for miles in any direction. No one knows from whence it came."
If there's a mysterious entity lurking in the forest of splinterlands, someone needs to investigate. So the Nature of the Forest came and suddenly it became a serious fight for cornealus against Her. Cornealus lost, and being imprisoned.

Software: Adobe Photoshop

REFERENCES:
I used some earth cards/monsters for the colors

1st: Sketches

Started to use final colors

2nd: Rendering
supposed to be there's some ruins in the foreground but decided to remove it (next image)

Now I added some values on the "EYE" or main body? i really don't know :D

This time, some values on vines around cornealus

Some grass/molds are started to build up

Need to blend the subject to the background

Last:
And for the final touches, added some shadows and light to give some mood.

It's so good to do art again and participate in this contest. I can't promise to make an entry every week but this is a start for me.
