The suspected South Korean hedge fund pump of alt-coins and adjacent tokens brought smiles to many, but it may end up coming back down to Earth like a Chinese spy/weather balloon. This made the continued efforts to clean the collection out a bit messier, but it provided an opportunity to get a pair of cards at a relatively cheaper price.

The Holding Pattern

The Level 1 Regular Foil Supply Runner was originally priced at $.143 and with the slight downturn and price wall that formed, it was re-priced at a less aggressive $.128.

The Level 2 Regular Foil Chaos Agent fell in value, but this is a card that will remain on the market until it is sold at $1.10 or if the card is in a supply pinch on the rental market.

The Gold Foil Level 3 Sunkai Harvester fell in price, but $.45 price tag still makes sense.

It's still a better deal to buy a Gold Foil Sunkai Harvester than 14 BCX Regular Foil Sunkai Harvesters. There has been a recent surge in price for Regular Foil Sunkai Harvesters and a similar surge happened roughly 3 weeks ago. It will sit on the market until sold. This is not a card that fetches much on the rental market at all.

Regular Foil Scavo Hireling in Level 2 and Level 1 forms are being sold at slightly different price points and these are recent additions to the market.

What's Out?

Nothing. As nothing was sold. Everything is in wait-and-see mode as far as how the Rewards card prices shake out. A lot of things are happening right now that could be quite impactful, such as bot farms possibly exiting, consolidating or changing how their operations models.

Epic cards were not put on the market yet due to pricing during this period. They were not the priority cards to sell first as there's an effort to consolidate the collection with higher quality/scarcity cards.

What's In?

A pair of cards were purchased, a Gold Foil Chaos Knight at Level 3 and a Level 3 Gold Foil Blood Maker.

The Level 3 Gold Foil Chaos Knight was a purchase made with the understanding of a tight low card/high bid window and stronger DEC to make the purchase. At $.722, the purchase would have made no sense a few weeks ago, but it makes perfect sense now as it does seem like a card that has room to run without any price walls to clear in the interim.

Why get another Level 3 Gold Foil Blood Maker? This is a popularly used card with greater scarcity than other Gold Foil Common Rewards cards in the Chaos Legion tradeable set. It is a card that is comparable in print rate to a Regular Foil Silvershield Sheriff.

There is less mana entailed with Blood Maker, almost just as much damage dealt, and like the Silvershield Sheriff it is capable of hitting the backline. It's also a card that is now much more useful in the modified Fog of War ruleset because Opportunity monsters are now unable to strike the backline or tank. Scattershot now enjoys a premium along with Reach.

More moves are to come, maybe Day 3 will be more exciting than Day 2.
