Let's Open a GLADIUS CASE... What's in the Haul?

It's Gladius Case Opening Time Once Again!

After another well-fought Brawl that we the Blue Pill Society, crushed it like we know how - 1st Place. You can join us and crush it too, we have 4 spots available. There's another Gladius Case to open and let's just hope this goes better than that End of Season set of Loot Chests.

Cards are unveiled one at a time, everyone knows the rules. At the very end, the Gladius Case is scored from 0.0 to 10.0. Got it? Great. Let's do this.

Card #1: Alva the Crusher

"I have a structured settlement and I need cash NOWWWW... call J.G. Wentworth! 877-CASH-NOW!"

Come on, you didn't think of this already. It's not that special of a card, it's a flipped Frozen Soldier. We can do better in the Water Splinter.

Card #2: Orella Abadon - Gold Foil!!!!!

Finally, a GOLD FOIL GLADIUS CARD. This is a really good card as is with Tarsa and now it is just amazing to have a Gold Foil version of our favorite Fighting Lunch Lady. Sneak with 3 melee attack and bloodlust at 2 mana. Combine her with Kobold Miner, Tenyii Striker, Serpentine Spy and it is going to be rough time for opponents.

Since this is a Gold Foil very of Orella Abadon, might as well pull out this classic clip. Rest in Peace, Chris Farley.

Card #3: Isgald Vorst

This is a solid Common card with Kelya Frendul. Great when paired with Deeplurker, Sabre Shark, and Pelacor Bandit. This is a set up that makes things rough for an opponent that chooses to use Lorna Shine.

No complaints here, level this card up.

Card #4: Helmet Kharafax

This is a card that will never be played. Has no use to your hero/role model. The name of 'Helmet' just seems like an overprotective B-List actress mother gave her son this name. Rough times ahead for Helmet.

So now there's the last card coming up. Will it be another Gold Foil or maybe even a Rare or Legendary? Who knows, but knowing how these cases even out, it's probably our favorite adult film star turned Splinterlands "monster".

Card #5: Katrelba Gobson

The better of the Gobson siblings. The sneak and double strike when combined with Mylor Crowling is pretty good and it can be used with Byzantine Kitty or Daria Dragonscale, which gives this card a bit of flexibility.

However, there are better Gladius cards in the Earth Splinter. This is a good situational card that will be used maybe once every quarter, it will serve a purpose at some point.

Final Score: 8.0 out of 10.0.

Very solid. A Gold Foil Rare Card makes up for any disappointments (cough cough Helmet cough cough). Orella Abadon is the star here, obviously. Getting another Isgald Vorst to eventually level up that card is going to be a nice addition.
