My Splinterlands Diary:Buy Gladius Pack & Opening

Hello friends in gaming and Splinterlands community. For players of Splinterlands, we know just how special Guild Brawls and Gladiator cards are. While ranked matches can be played using regular cards, there’s really no substitute for Gladiator cards when it comes to winning Brawls. What makes them stand out is their unique Bloodlust ability, which boosts a card’s power every time it defeats an opponent. The only way to obtain these powerful cards is by purchasing Gladius Cases from the Guild Store using Merits. After grinding Brawls for quite some time and building up enough Merits, I finally decided to open three packs today. In this article, I’ll be sharing my full pack opening experience and taking a closer look at the cards I pulled.

I checked my merits and saw I have 6,000+ merits. Earning merits can be obtained from competing in weekly Guild Brawls and win matches. You can also get a small amount by purchasing them with Glint, 2,000 per season.

With that in mind, I headed straight to the Guild Store. Each Gladius Case costs 2,000 Merits, and since I had more than enough, I decided to grab three packs in one go. I was hoping to get another legendary card.

Another legendary card! This is my third legendary card after Fina Voxom and Larissa Kerato. This one is a water card with one magic attack. She has a support ability to heal the tank. Her health is high with five but speed is only two.

The next pack is just normal with four common and one rare. I already have these cards. I will check later if any card can be levelled up.

The third and last pack is also a normal one with one rare and four commons.

This are my current cards in total. I have three legendary cards and three epic cards. I have two common cards to level up to three.

Gladiator cards in Splinterlands cannot be bought. Collecting them comes down to consistently playing brawls. The more gladiator cards, the better your chances of earning points for your guild during Brawls. The cards I pulled today definitely gave my collection a boost, especially the legendary and cards I levelled up.
