I won a jackpot card in Splinterlands! I checked the odds, its very low of getting a jackpot with a small 2.0% chance. By the way, the jackpot cards can be won from playing the Frontier format in Splinterlands.

There is no payment to enter, it's completely free to play and you can acquire cards, build your deck and have fun playing the game. The game offers more fun if you join a guild or known as a clan in other games.

There are four jackpot cards: common, rare, epic and legendary. Which one I got?

It's an epic! I would guess that the chance to get this card versus common and rare is much, much lower so I count myself twice lucky in getting to win this jackpot card.

To examine the card itself: it has no attack, low health and low speed. At first glance the card is useless. But look, it has a flying ability and there is one battle modifier where this card will shine: the Earthquake modifier. Every card has value, it's up to players to find it. In earthquake battles, place this card way back where it cannot be attacked and let the power of earthquake take care of your opponent cards while this card chills, unharmed. Of course you will have to mind your other cards that cannot fly. They can also get hurt by earthquake so the goal is let the other cards survive and protect this card to let the earthquake win the battle for you.

That's the value I see in this card. Checking out its stats, at higher levels it can have the ability to heal the team tank. It adds another supporting ability to assist the team win battles. It will not only survive by itself, it can also help the team's tank to regain lost health.

On a side note, it will take ten cards. Not an easy task to reach this level but the progression is fun. I will keep playing to make my cards level up and maybe I will get more jackpot cards along the way.
