Hello, Hive gaming community!

I’m back with a new entry in my Splinterlands game diary. It’s been a while since my last post, but a lot has happened in the meantime. My Foundation and Gladiator card collections have been slowly growing. And yesterday, I even got lucky and pulled a jackpot card. That’s what I’ll be talking about in today’s post.

⚔️🛡️ Aimee Whisperwind 🛡️⚔️

Aimee Whisperwind has a beautiful card design. She is a lioness warrior type that is a different attack type from the magic heavy water element. She is useful in the water element when the battle modifier will not allow magic units to be summoned in battle. She's a melee unit with opportunity that will target low health units in the opposing team. I already played her in my battles and she does not disappoint.

She takes a place in the team if I want to target the opponent's low health units instead of focusing on the opponent's tank. Healers and dps attackers usually have low health but support the tank. Sometimes they need to be defeated first in order to get to the opposing tank like in the my brawl battle where I had a tank with high health supported by a healer.

⚔️🛡️ Captain Katie 🛡️⚔️

Captain Katie is one of my new gladiator cards. I regularly play in Gank's Squadrons brawls that enable me to earn merits and buy gladiator cards. She is a strong magic unit with three magic attack. It would be great if she can be used in Frontier battles. She can fight against the water element's magic units. I use her often in my brawl battles.

My team was composed of cards that were delegated to me. Dar Gottem Gearnut is an excellent card and super powered. He has high health and difficult to defeat. I supported him with a healer and it's almost not possible to kill him without taking out the healers first. My dps attackers were Captain Katie and Calabash Sage. Their attack power is the highest in my team. My opponent kept trying to defeat my tank but it's no use. The modifiers were Painforge and Global Warming. An interesting combination that adds attack but decrease health of units each round. Dar Gottem Gearnut was the winner in this battle because of his high health. He stayed while all other cards were killed.

⚔️🛡️ Fina Voxom 🛡️⚔️

My first legendary card in the gladiator set. Fina has beautiful fire like hair design that agrees to her being a Fire element card. She is powerful with three melee attack and like Aimee Whisperwind, she has opportunity ability that targets low health units of the opposing team. In addition to bloodlust ability, it makes a lethal combination. Every kill she accomplish adds to all her stats. Ironically, I haven't used her yet in my brawl battles.

⚔️🛡️ Gank's Squadron Guild 🛡️⚔️

I'm a member of Gank's Squadron guild and I'm very grateful that I have a regular spot in brawls. Our team leader @snowboarderpete delegates me cards that allow me to join and earn merits. The cards I play with are strong like Dar Gottem Gearnut above. I'm thankful that I get to try those strong cards in brawl battles.
