We will be setting up our own type of tournament so we can try and make the best tournament show ever. Due to the limitation in the Splinterlands tournament creation, we will be designing our own format that will allow us to have more control over every aspect of the tournament from having breaks between rounds for giveaways to being able to have interviews with players between rounds without harming them from entering teams.

As we will have to control a lot of the tournament with 3rd part software like Discord and Twitch to communicate with participants before and during the tournaments. We hope these tournaments will allow players a safe place to play without battling against players using BOTS/HELPERS with everyone being at a normal fair TCG playing field. But let me break this down into little bits so it is easier for people to understand.

To enter this tournament all you have to do is be in the Web3 tournament discord server to keep up with when the tournament schedule, and who you will be battling against.

It is completely free to enter the tournament but if you would like to donate It will cost you nothing to enter as we will not be taking a fee to enter the tournament, but if you would like to donate a contribution towards it, it will be appreciated but is not required so do not feel obliged to do so.

We have decided to do these tournaments so the community has PVP competition while having a laugh with each other during the stream, so don't stress about your battles and forget your worries for a few hours and relax!

If a bot/helper is able to be used in the private battles we will add a way to prevent players from using them while entering.

You will have to enter your battles into the discord channel Tournament Entry and Battle Entry so we can watch the battles and make sure no one is using cards outside of the format.

We can conduct these tournaments if we have max of 60 players so we can do the brackets properly.

We will ask for people to enter the discord channel 15 minutes before the tournament starts so we can log everyone's name before we draft out the brackets. Once we have all the names we will write them into a list and draft each player randomly into a bracket to start the tournament.

This is a rounded format tournament, and to proceed to the next round you will need to complete best of 3 battles. Each Round last 15 minutes So each battle needs to be completed in under 5 minutes or you forfeit the match. The tournament will have 4 rounds in total.

All battles must be entered into the Tournament Entry and Battle Entry discord channel, and to find out who you are playing next you can either find out on our stream or through the discord channel above.

All games must be played in the Modern format and each tournament will range from Bronze to Gold league. We will announce the league type an hour before each tournament so you know what you can and cannot play with.

We can only do these tournaments in player numbers 12 or 16 at present, with hopes to expand to 32 players, so if we have more interest than spaces it will become a first come first served basis. Those who are unable to play due to limited spaces will be placed on a death wheel for a Splinterlands-related consolation prize. These tournaments will be up to 5 rounds depending on how many players enter the tournament.

To keep things fair there are some rules.

The first one is if you do not accept your challenge within 5 minutes you will lose the first battle. EG: if you miss 1 challenge from your first round, your opponent automatically wins that round and you would need to win the next two to proceed to the second round. After 5 minutes, we will ask all players if they have started their battles, This is how we can monitor who has lost one of their battles. If you do not accept the challenge within 10 minutes you will lose that round and will no longer be in the tournament.

If you are caught using a bot/helper during any of the battles you will be banned from all future tournaments. We cannot stop other players from looking at your cards, as you can do the same thing too, but it is up to you to make your teams, no one or nothing else.
There will be a post coming shortly explaining how we will be checking for bots and helpers.

Wow, I was in previous tournament (Mr. Matts one).
I didn't win a battle or even any prize at twitch... but I enjoyed it...

Hope I will able to do all above things easily 😅, not good at picking things quickly...
