Hello everyone and welcome back to the Zard and Beccss weekly newsletter!

It’s been such a jam-packed week and we can’t wait to share it all with you. We got some new things in store that we are excited to tell you about and an update on our subscriber giveaways. So let's stop chit-chatting and get into it

Sub giveaways.png

It's a brand new month which means it was time to give out some Legendary Splinterlands cards to our subscribers. Our Tier 1 subscribers were battling it out for a Soul Fiend, our Tier 2 were battling for a Baakjira and our Tier 3's were going for a Jacek! Congratulations to @canada804 for cashing in that tier 3 luck and winning the Baakjira and the Jacek and congrats to our new subscriber Jay who bagged himself the soul fiend. That last-minute sub really came through for you!

Monthly Giveaway promo July.png

For the month of July, we have three brand-new cards to give out to three lucky subscribers. Our tier ones will be going head-to-head for the fungus fiend, tier 2s will be fighting for a Chaos Dragon and our mighty tier threes will be trying their luck for an Astral Entity!

If you want to try and win one of these amazing prizes, all you have to do is be a tier one, tier two, or tier three subscriber on Twitch and be in the stream on the first Sunday in August to take part - yes it is that simple!

Tournament Points v2.png

We also want to give a massive shoutout to those subscribers who take part in our Splinterlands Tournaments. All of you have been collecting points throughout the month to win some amazing prizes.

All of our Twitch subscribers are automatically entered into the tournament point system if they play in any of our tournaments. It doesn't matter when you subscribe to us, as long as it is before our last tournament of the Month.

Our first-place player @nitroage proved this by subbing to our Twitch on the third to last tournament and having all his previous points backdated. He was able to get a record-breaking 58 points! He bagged himself 1x Riftwater pack, 1x Chaos Legion Legendary card, and 1,500 DEC.

Congratulations to @davethegreat who came second with an impressive 28 points and also received 1x Riftwatcher pack, 1x Chaos Leigon reward legendary card, and 1,000 DEC.

We had a joint third place last month from @supermani and @credits64 who each got 1x Gold Foil Common Chaos Legion card, 1x Chaos Legion Pack, and 500 DEC.

With only one tournament down this month, this is the current tournament point leaderboard.

With a few subscribers taking part in the 2nd July tournament, only one was able to place in the top 7 (Canada came third!) while the others just missed out on the top spots.

Can Canada keep his lead all month or will a new subscriber take his spot? Find out next time on Splinterball Z.

Gods Unchained.png

As most of you know, we also play another Play To Earn game called Gods Unchained which is on the Eth network. We will be streaming this game on Tuesday 4th July and also Thursday 6th July to show you all more about the game, and the mechanics and answer any questions you may have. We also have scholarships available that you can request and use for a month before starting your own decks.

This week we have uploaded three Youtube videos that go into detail on various parts of the game.

In the video below, Beccss has gone into detail on four things she wished she knew before starting the game. This is something we would suggest all new players watch as there is key information about certain aspects of the game they don't tell you that you need to know:

Zard created a video on the best two-card combo for easy wins. If you are a War player or someone who is looking at swapping decks, this is something for you because who doesn't want to win games quickly with as few cards as possible?

Now if you have literally just downloaded the game and have no idea what anything means, Beccss has broken down the cards for you and goes into detail on what they all mean. This is a great starting point to understand the world of Gods Unchained.

Exciting Updates.png
TWITCHCON PARIS
Something extremely exciting we are happy to announce is that Zard and Beccss are going international and will be attending Twitchcon Paris on the 7th - 10th July 2023.

image.png

During our time in Paris, we will be interviewing Web2 players and understanding their views on Web3 and the crypto world. We will also be finding out new ways to improve our streams for you guys. There is also going to be a Splinterlands tournament that will be live-streamed from Paris so we can bring you all along with us! By the end of our stay, we will have a brilliant vlog to show you what a Twitch convention is like and hopefully bring a brand new group of people to our communities.

SPLINTERLANDS BATTLE CONTEST
Black Green Remix Party Club Flyer.png

Thank you to everyone who has taken part in our weekly Splinterlands battle competition over the last few months. After much consideration, we are extending our deadline to 30 days rather than 7 days.

We have decided to make this change to have more people enter the contest and increase the prizes. It will no longer be the top battle that will get a prize, but instead the top 3 battles. The prizes are still in progress but it will be a range of DEC. To enter the contest all you have to do is be a part of our Discord, react to Zard and Beccss and leave your fight in the Splinterlands battle channel. You can enter as many times as you like in a month and can be ranked games, brawls, or tournament battles. The only rule is that it has to be a fight that you have done, it cannot be someone else's fight.

NEW GAME

If you are a Pokemon fan like Zard, we have a brilliant NFT version of the game that you will love! We have started playing NFT Champions which is similar to Pokemon. Zard will be streaming this game a lot more and is excited to show you guys what you can do with it!

If you can't wait to see him stream the game, check out his top reasons why you should be bullish on the game in the video below. We also have walkthrough videos and tips and tricks relating back to the game on our channel so make sure you check them out too:

NEW SPLINTERLANDS TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Now we're not going to go into too much detail about this as it is still a work in progress, but we are starting a new tournament format for our Splinterlands players...Doubles.

Now this doesn't mean double tournaments because we've been there and done that, but we mean doubles! You and a friend against someone else and their friend! Keep an eye on our discord channel and our weekly newsletter for more information on this in the near future.

Our No Bots Allowed tournament will also be returning back to our streams - keep an eye on the discord channel to find out when this will be back and how to enter.
