Have the changes in Splinterlands affected the number of users?

As most of you know now the minimum number of days to rent cards in the Splinterlands game has been increased to 2 days. The fluctuation in the chart of daily Splinterlands users is the day the changes were made. At first the number of players dropped a lot, but after a while it returned to normal. In some time, cards are expected to be rented for the entire season. This change will make fewer cards available on the market and the number of daily users should decrease.

I tried Alien Worlds for a while. I don't understand what the appeal is. Its basically every game Facebook had in 2007.

Most blockchain games are played by people for tokens, not for fun. It must take time for crypto games to be on the level of traditional computer games.

I understand that. Aside from not being very interesting, when I factored in the amount of WAX that needed to be staked, the NFTs I'd need for mining, and the tokens I was getting for time put in, it would have been more profitable for me to sit and do crypto faucets.
