One Wrong Card Can Cost You a Win - Splinterlands Live Battling #59
Welcome to the newest Live Battling video from the awesome Splinterlands game! Floating in the Gold 1 league can bring you some unbalanced opponents in this stage of the season, and I had relatively easy ones in this video... When I say easy, I think that they had lower leveled cards than me, but that doesn't mean that they weren't good players...
So, if you check out the video you will see two battles that I have played... The first one was with a "small league" battle rule and a very low mana cap, which I like to play with Dragon Splinter... But this time, I have played with Dragons as that was my daily quest... The second battle looked like another easy win, but it looks that I have made a huge mistake with my tank-card...

It looks like your strategy was fine, it was just a little unlucky that he chose an all magic attack and you had no reflect or void up front. And you took out medusa to add in the sandworm, but the sandworm missed a couple of times because of the lower speed. Would be interesting to get to replay the match but with medusa still in there to see if you could have taken down his LA
That would be an awesome addition if we could do replays of battles and do a different setup... Just for fun!
I agree that luck was an important part of the battle, but still, with Lord A in the first round, I would probably win.. Luck can give 20-30% of advantage, but I don't want to use it as an excuse for this one :) :)

Missed attacks are the culprit. Seen that many times am and on the wrong of it myself.
More annoying thing than misses is when your poison or affliction isn't triggered in like 4-5 rounds... lol... :)

You are very kind, but I wouldn't go THAT far. I am still at Bronze and do not plan on making a large financial investment to build my collection any time soon, so I will work my way up the ladder very slowly as I add one card at a time. I am looking forward to attaining the level you are now, but I don't see it happening any time soon.
