Days 2-4 splinterlands Journey and Daily quest 9-18-21

Hey friends,

It’s been a couple days since I posted but it was because I try to do live streaming, and despite my best effort I still couldn’t get it to work properly. I just need a new computer lol

I’ve been completing my quests, I also bought some quest potions, and I bought a few cards for my deck as well.

I had an earth quest today and I noticed that playing with only starter cards had me in this frustrating place of having between 85 - 125 rating.

Do you ever see your rating bounce between this

Over and over? It becomes this frustrating grind of RNG. so I bought some cards to give me an edge. This isn’t going to be a short journey and adding new cards to the team makes that journey more enjoyable.

It’s going to be a couple days before I can use these cards because apparently there’s a cool down before they are playable on your account.

The potions in the potion shop provide really good value in the lower ranks where I am currently grinding right now. In today’s pull I got four cards including one epic! Not all pulls are like this though. I got one that was only 1 card and five potions lol so it might not be worth it in the long run to buy quest potions at the current price.

Still learning a lot every day about this game, and still staying fascinated in the whole ecosystem that’s being built here.

Yep, that RNG is a real thing.

I've found that the most effective way to win a lot in bronze is to get a level 2 summoner in each color. Then you can run cards higher than level 1, while your opponents mostly cannot. Most bronze players are running all level 1 teams, until you get to the high ratings.
