Eight days in on my @Splinterlands journey and still going strong. I'm happy to report that I'm having quite a bit of fun while keeping consistent with some of the goals I have for the game :)

I've been able to purchase and open at least 1 new Chaos Legion pack every day, and I haven't missed a single quest! The 3 tournaments I've competed in have been enlightening as far as how much it's gonna take to win consistently. Lessons well learned.

Staking more SPS has been an important part of my investment into Splinterlands. I've purchased SPS on a couple of occasions and have been staking back all of my daily claims.

Keeping a journal of my Splinterlands and Hive experience is a habit that I'm learning to cultivate on a daily basis. Getting to know the community is going to be essential.

The Prince Of Thorns

If there was just one card to chose that would make the biggest difference in my gameplay, it would definitely have to be Mylor Crowling!

According to Splinterlore, Mylor is an Elevated Summoner from the Earth Splinter. He was found in the ΛZMΛRÉ Dice packs, which are only now available on the after markets.

His ability to add thorns onto every single one of my monsters has proven to be a nearly unbeatable combination at this early Bronze level. The melee heavy Fire splinter is can be easily taken down by they own attack.

Daily Pack Opening

Today's daily Chaos Legion booster pack opening was an average one at best. It didn't have the same excitement as getting 2 gold foils in one, or getting 3 rare cards in another like I did on my previous openings :)

A Flying Squid, a Regal Peryton, a Scavo Chemist, a Crypt Beetle, and a Shadow Snitch were all on the agenda:

I'm still looking forward to that first Legendary card :)
