Shouldn't Lama vs Lama be a "draw" when the exact same cards are used?! I don't get it!

SOOOO I have been dying to finally get an answer to this question! Let's say the mana cap during a battle is 17 and both sides choose to use the Scarred Lama Mage summoner and Kron The Undying, same level summoner's and same level Kron's, everything is equal, how does one person lose and why? You would think it would be a "draw" right?! I have experienced this numerous times both on the losing and winning end, can someone explain this to me please?! Thank you! #splinterlands
