Hello friends,
How are you all? I hope you are happy and healthy. Today i will share a recipe of bitter gourd stir fry. It's one of those dishes that people either love or hate because of its bitter taste. But trust me, with the right techniques and spices, you can turn this bitter gourd into a delicious and flavorful dish that everyone will enjoy. Here's a simple recipe for bitter gourd stir fry.

Ingredients:
๐ŸŒŸ 250g bitter gourds (karela),
๐ŸŒŸ 1 raw mango
๐ŸŒŸ 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
๐ŸŒŸ 4 onion, slices chopped
๐ŸŒŸ 5-6 garlic cloves
๐ŸŒŸ 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
๐ŸŒŸ 1 teaspoon coriander powder
๐ŸŒŸ 1 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
๐ŸŒŸ Salt to tast

preparation

๐ŸŒฟ First, let's start the recipe by removing the seeds from the bitter gourd and cutting it, then sprinkle salt on it and set it aside for 4 hours. Sprinkling salt will remove its bitterness. Then rinse it thoroughly in water and place it in a sieve.

๐ŸŒฟ Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
๐ŸŒฟ Add chopped onions, garlic and saute until they turn translucent.

๐ŸŒฟ Add the prepared bitter gourd slices to the pan and mix well

๐ŸŒฟ Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, raw mango slices and salt. Mix well and cook for a couple of minutes.

๐ŸŒฟ Cover and cook on low to medium heat until the bitter gourds are tender, stirring occasionally. It may take around 15-20 minutes.

๐ŸŒฟ Once the bitter gourds are cooked.

๐ŸŒฟ Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
๐ŸŒฟ Your biyter gourd stir fry is now ready to be served hot with roti or rice. Enjoy your meal!
