INGREDIENTS

🌼 1/2 cup chane ki dal (split Bengal gram) soaked overnight

🌼 1/4 cup black chickpea ( soak overnight)

🌼 small onion, finely chopped
🌼 tomato, chopped
🌼 cucumber, chopped
🌼 Carrot chopped
🌼 Capsicum chopped

🌼 1 green chili, finely chopped
Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
1 lemon juice

🌼Salt to taste
🌼Black pepper to taste
🌼Chaat masala
🌼Roasted cumin powder

Preparation

🍁Rinse the chana dal and chickpea thoroughly under running water.Soak the dal in water for about overnight. After soaking, drain the water .

🍁In a mixing bowl, combine the boiled deshi chana, chane ki dal, chopped onion, tomato, cucumber, carrot, capsicum and green chili (if using).

🍁Sprinkle salt, black pepper, chaat masala, and roasted cumin powder according to your taste preferences.

🍁Add chopped coriander leaves for a burst of freshness.

🍁Squeeze fresh lemon juice and 1 teaspoon olive oil over the salad.

🍁Toss the ingredients gently to mix them evenly.

🍁Give the salad a final toss to ensure all the flavors are well combined. Garnish the salad with a raisins for presentation.
