❇️Tamarind and Jaggery Sauce : A Sweet and Tangy Delight❇️

I hope you are happy and healthy.Today i will share a recipe of tarmarind chutney.Tamarind and Jaggery Chutney, commonly known as Imli aur Gud ki Chatni, is a quintessential Indian c0ond
iment bursting with sweet, tangy, and spicy flavors. This versatile chutney complements a variety of Indian snacks and chaats, adding depth and zing to every bite. Follow this easy recipe to whip up a batch of this delightful chutney at home.

Ingredients:
250 tamarind
1 kg jaggery
1 tablespoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon dry ginger powder
Salt to taste
Water as needed
Instructions:
🍁Start by soaking the tamarind in warm water for about 30 minutes. Once it softens, squeeze out the pulp and discard any remaining seeds and fibers.

Soak the jaggery in warm water.

🍁Heat oil, then add cumin seeds, curry leaves, and dried red chili for tempering.

🍁Now, In a saucepan, add the tamarind pulp along with jaggery solution . Stir well to combine.

🍁 add red chili powder, dry ginger powder,chat masala , and a pinch of asafoetida to the tamarind-jaggery mixture. Mix thoroughly.

🍁Place the saucepan over medium heat and let the mixture simmer. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Allow it to cook until the chutney thickens to your desired consistency.

🍁Once the chutney reaches the desired consistency, add salt to taste. Remember, jaggery already adds sweetness, so adjust salt accordingly.

🍁Turn off the heat and let the chutney cool to room temperature. Transfer it to a clean, airtight jar for storage. It can be refrigerated for up to 1 month.

🍁 Serve this tantalizing Imli aur Gud ki Chatni alongside your favorite Indian snacks like samosas, pakoras, dahi bare or chaats.
