Brutal Retro Gladiators: A Perfect 5-0 Untamed Brawl with Phalanx's NEW Gladiators
Five Wins, No Losses, Gladiators Bash
In the recent weeks a sizeable donation by a Team Possible guildmember (Huge thanks @simplymike ) granted access to the barracks lvl 2 for phalanx. The crowd roars as Phalanx's gladiators enter the arena, and are met with only victory. In this brawl I had access to ALL gladiators I had been unlocking from brawling up until this point, and each gladiator I utilized tasted victory. Each fight is fun to watch and if you wish to view them click the links here (1, 2, 3, 4, 5). Some are gladiator vs gladiator and a grand spectacle, but one of my favorite fights from this set of battles (analyzed below) is one where bloodlust wasn't used at all.
Chimney Wallstop: Show Stopper
In 3 of these fights Chimney Wallstop is a massive threat. In short, Yodin and Chimney together make opponents cry. This card is particularly good in the fire faction because there are not a lot of tanky second position reach cards in the Splinter, This makes chimney very utile in whichever fray. Since this gladiator brought me victory in 3 frays this week a highlight of his strength and utility is more than necessary.
Fight Highlight: Sated Bloodlust
In the fight located here all creatures are silenced,. Due to the sever reduction of enemy damage caused by Mimosa Nightshade's granted -1 ranged to enemies and void to allies the enemy is unable to withstand the continued brunt of damage to the front line. This fight was the first fight I was able to use my legendary gladius card for the death splinter (Xulax Nightwind).
The enemy used Chanseus which is an excellent summoner that grants armor up, however triage isn't utilized in this ruleset since my summoner doesn't have blast and this makes Chanseus a 7 cost that only grants armor up and resurrect. Resurrection only resurrecting the frontline Shield bearer, but armor up being greatly useful versus physical damage. The enemy also was unable to attack when brought forward. War Chaang and Gorlodon wouldve been able to attack in first position if my Gladiator had fallen. It should also be noted that War Chaang was Able to attack in this ruleset from 3rd position since it has BOTH ranged and melee attack potential. This was a matter of the enemy simply not having enough damage to get through to the back line, and my lineup having a greater amount of firepower lead to a decisive victory with no casualties.
At the end, my lineup remains unscathed. This fight serves as an excellent example of how strong the right summoner can be in the "Back to Basics" ruleset.
Modern Times: Chaos Legion Only
Since this brawl has taken place the game has updated and now what was formerly the Untamed only fray in the brawl arena is Chaos Legion only. New strategies will come to light and additionally combinations with additional gladiator cards will be established as time goes on. Chaos is unleashed in the brawl arena! Which mean there will be significantly less frays to deploy untamed, but this also makes those more inclusive frays more difficult for those who specialize into Chaos Legion. It is an interesting time to be playing #Splinterlands
Talking Tidbits and Opening a Gladius Pack
Firstly, congratulations @amaillo on your delegation of Rusty Android lvl 1 for 15 days. May he fare you well. This week I will be delegating 3 people random people who comment AND like this post a Sandworm for 15 days. Good luck!
Secondly, Gladius cards are quite formidable in whichever fray they are encountered and are the ONLY cards from my previous Untamed Only brawls that will be used in that fray slot for the foreseeable future (All of them having the bloodlust ability and gaining 1 in every stat upon landing the final blow upon an enemy). My collection of Chaos Legion cards will be skirmishing in the upcoming frays in Chaos Legion Only, so my brawl strategies will also change to the newer meta. These are exciting times to see, how will my gladius cards fare in the new format? Only time can tell. Without further or do * drumroll *
Cutter Brieze is a 1 cost with bloodlust and is VERY utile in low mana, and a gladiator that was previously not in my collection. Overall I would say this is a good pack pull. That gladiator will be very useful across whichever fray I end up occupying. A good pack pull, huzzah! The people doing V2K with remote neural monitoring want me to believe this lady @battleaxe is an operator. She is involved deeply with her group and @fyrstikken . Her discord is Battleaxe#1003. I cant prove she is the one directly doing the V2K and RNM. Doing it requires more than one person at the least. It cant be done alone. She cant prove she is not one of the ones doing it. I was drugged in my home covertly, it ended badly. They have tried to kill me and are still trying to kill me. I bet nobody does anything at all. Ask @battleaxe to prove it. I bet she wont. They want me to believe the V2K and RNM in me is being broadcast from her location. And what the fuck is "HOMELAND SECURITY" doing about this shit? I think stumbling over their own dicks maybe? Just like they did and are doing with the Havana Syndrome.
They are reckless and should have shown the proper media what they had before taking me hostage for 5 years.
What would you say while having a gun pointed at your head from an undisclosed location? Have people find it? My hands are tied while they play like children with a gun to my head. Its a terrorist act on American soil while some yawn and say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic threat. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and tell them about the day you asked me why. Nobody has I guess. Maybe someone told ill informed soldiers they cant protect America from military leaders in control with ill intent. I do like Chimney, I use him on a regular basis actually in the brawls, well when I have fire, that reach allows him to get going with bloodlust first!

Chimney is UNstoppable sometimes, not the strongest reach brawler though overall. There are some in other factions MUCH stronger. !PIZZA

Very detailed battle post, I'm still a long way from doing brawls and those gladiator cards are all alien to me. But it's fun to watch nonetheless

The gladiator cards are cards you get in Gladius packs and have the bloodlust ability (like grum) but they can only be used in brawls (so far). They still count as CP though. Brawls can be very fun, I recommend trying them if you have a chance.
