How to Secure Victory Against a Bloodlusted Gladiator with Your Three Mana Marvel

This has got to be my most unbelievable battle so far, I am getting smashed by an opportunity gladiator while my low mana monsters are getting resurrected only to get smashed again, this guy is bloodlusting to some crazy stats, even Armour won't stop him as he has "piercing" WTF...

Yes. This had me yelling at the screen again, cursing my bad luck. Then out of nowhere, I pull off the most amazing turnaround ever. If you watch any battles, this one will leave you gobsmacked as it did to me.

Battle Plan

We are looking at a level 6 Isgald Vorst supported by a Level 3 Noa The Just to rust off Armour and become impossible to hit. Great plan from my opponent. I went with an armoured tank and had Two repair monsters to fix the damage and one to restore health. The reason is because of the Weak Magic Rule.

I am still trying to level my soulbound monsters and Gladiators to this level

The real hero of this battle is Musa Saline. My thinking was that because of the Weak Magic rule the opponent would be coming out with lots of amour. This works to slow down magic attacks, so I wanted shatter to be part of my strategy.

Well, I was not disappointed.

Magic does not miss and Noa gets shattered with the first shot and then swatted away with a one, two and three combo. Musa gains a health point and life is good.

Not so fast as Noa resurrects back with 4 Armour. Meanwhile, his gladiator is doing one-shot kills at his leisure, getting very overpowered.

With a resurrect Musa is gaining a lot of health points thanks to her scavenge ability. This is a lifesaver.

I am picking off his filler monsters waiting for Isgald Vorst to come to the front. When he does he has 10 Damage - 10 speed - 9 Amours and 12 health WHAT!!

Now the next thing that happened shocked me, I didn't see it coming. Musa shoots one magic shot, and shatters the 12 Armour. And she DOES A DISPEL wiping all his other stats off, he then takes a 3 damage from Swamp Spitter and it's all over.

Musa ended the battle in second position with a mighty 21 health points. A fantastic win, coming out of nowhere.

New Player Learning

This was an enjoyable battle to watch. It shows the many different ways this very simple-looking game can play out.

But it is not that simple in the planning. As every monster has competing abilities. There are also many counters to your opponent's team as well as synergies for your team. This keeps the game interesting and challenging.
