Steps to Achieving Success In SplinterLands

Believe in Yourself

When you fire up your computer and log into Splinterland to complete your daily quest, team Brawl or Tournament competitions, it helps to have a winner’s mindset. There is a deep-seated need for self-belief, and it starts with the realization that we can control our own methods and strategies. The first step to self-belief is to identify the limiting beliefs that hold us back and then overcome them through practical steps.

Believing in ourselves is one of the most rewarding things we can do. When we believe in ourselves, we behave as if our attitude is true, and it becomes true after a while. We can win these battles.

Self-belief is an important ingredient for success because it gives you the confidence you need to keep going when you hit a losing streak. Start by identifying your limiting beliefs and overcoming them so you can believe in yourself more than ever before!

Be Consistent

Consistency is the key to success. It not only helps us to achieve our goal but also instills determination and perseverance in us. Make sure you complete at least the daily quest even if you only get one loot chest.

Doing the same thing over and over is boring, but it’s also necessary. If we want to be successful, we need to put in the work and be consistent with it.

Keep Calm and Carry On

In order to be successful in a tournament, we need to have a positive outlook and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Remember that every single win is important. Use the time you have to select your best team based on the rules of the battle.

Plan for setbacks and Obstacles

Before you start and press the battle button, it’s important to have a plan in place for when things don't go your way.

It’s never been more important that you prepare for setbacks. In today's game of rapid change, it's rare that things go according to plan. In fact, if everything goes well and you don't experience any setbacks or obstacles in your game play, then I'd like to know what you're doing differently than everyone else.

Network and Collaborate With Others

Remember that Hive and Splinterlands are a community and when you're starting out playing if you're anything like me, that means networking and collaborating with others, finding mentors, and finding champions to help you grow your game knowledge. follow @marianaemilia and read the excellent SplinterZine is a good first step.

I believe that if you want to succeed in this game, then it's important to be a part of a community that challenges and supports each other. That's why I'm always looking for opportunities to collaborate with others on discord and Hive blogs, on social media channels, at networking events - wherever I can meet people who are on a similar journey as I am.

Believe You Can Achieve Your Goals and Dreams

Your dreams keep you motivated to keep working on your goals. It's important to remember that if you stop dreaming, you'll stop trying. Sure you might not have the collection power of some of the earlier players, but in six or twelve months’ time YOU will one of those former players helping new players joining the game.

When you believe in your dreams, they grow more powerful and tangible. You'll start taking more risks and seeing opportunities where others don't. And with every risk that pays off, the stronger your belief becomes.

Define Your Purpose & Goals Clearly

The goal is the thing you want to achieve. It is your purpose. It defines what you are doing, why you are doing it, and how you are doing it. Get to the next league level, accumulate a certain amount of tokens be it DEC or Hive, set a target and move towards it with purpose.

Purpose drives everything we do in this game. Goals clarify what we’re working on and motivate us to keep working towards them. Start by asking yourself: What am I trying to accomplish? Why am I trying to accomplish this? How will I measure success?

Remain Flexible and adaptable to change as it Happens

The game is transforming, and it's important to be aware of what the future updates may have in store. Keep your eyes open for recent changes, but don't get discouraged by them. Change is only a problem if you let it become one. Follow the official discord and try to get to the regular AMAs or Town Hall discussions hosted by @aggroed. Where I am we have a regular in-person meetup at the Jade in Adelaide, last Thursday of the Month. We talk about splinterland and hive, sharing our experiences and plans. Yesterday we had @ctrpch, @shaidon and @focus.folks and we got a bonus reward by being Chauffeur Driven home by @mattclarke.

Share some ways you plan on Progressing in this Game and what was the best reward you have won recently. See Mine in the above image. So happy when I open a GFL.

It's been a long time since I pulled a gfl. Late 2018, from memory. Beta Frost Giant.
Always great to see you, mate.

Long time, you must be due for one soon, I tend to make a habit of pulling them, trouble is I kept selling them, not selling any more though.

I never pulled one, almost 3 years of playing. No complains as My SL assets are still close to 100K.
