Readers, friends and users who make life on the platform, all are welcome to this new version of the social networking challenge of the spt community! A promotional activity aimed at all those who love the topics related to the NFT, gamefi and Playtoearn projects.

If you are a new user and you still don't know the game mechanics, I attach a small trailer made by me. Here to deepen your knowledge of combat and training.

I appreciate and am pleased to see the hard work being put into Splinterlands to keep up with the growing player base, new updates and third party collaborations that will soon blossom for those who believe strongly in the project.

Pending future updates, this project is one of the best games I have seen as far as "NFT" projects go.

The integration of the new bonus system leaves much to be desired.... I consider it a good way to get rid of, equalize the reward system and encourage players to optimize their battle decks.

Let's start the weekly challenge:

This is my battle laid out in front of you for this new activity, a strategy designed on the fly to enshrine battles for the assigned focus, I don't get along very well with the previous water sliver, as I feel it is not quite complete and it may not be as beneficial to set up a battle against the new card editions. Still, I begin my publication and hope you like it....

Let's discover its history:

Edition: Beta.
Rarity: Rare.
Element: Water.
Abilities: Increased magic damage +1.

The oldest ΛZMΛRÉan Summoner, Alric Stormbringer, founded the modern arts of Chaos Magic. He has many students from all over the Splinterlands. Alric's gift is not so much bringing the storm, but channeling it. He has lived for hundreds of years, and some stories claim he was alive before the Fragmentation.

Battle strategy

The strategy for this battle was improvised at the last moment, the rule indicated an equal level for the vital performance of all characters, but in the battle history of my opponent I could observe a great capacity for magic damage. I knew that my tank will not resist enough in the first round, so I thought of concentrating all the damage in a single square while strategically attacking and extending the tank's durability thanks to its healing ability. The increased melee attack was also a rather sudden idea, but I had a feeling that my opponent would be devising a method of play where he would weaken this type of attack. Besides the enrage rule allows a high attack and damage from monsters with melee attack, that's why I focused my attack in this category.

Battle rules and mana limit

image.png

Rage.

All monsters adopt the rage ability, increasing their abilities after receiving the first hit.

image.png

Equalizer.

All positioned monsters adopt the same amount of vital points to the monster with the highest score.

image.png

99 mana limit

The mana limit is in my favor, as it is high enough to build a good battle team.

Splinter alignment

image.png

ALRIC STORMBRINGER

This is the selected summoner for this game, thanks to the corresponding focus I had to perform participation with the water splinter and this character is the strongest of my team of summoners of this splinter, then to be at the height with my rival I decided to play this way.

Although I didn't play with a magic damage increase, his ability is very good in a lot of rules and situations, as long as the monsters support each other.

image.png

SEA MONSTER

This monster has the task of playing the role of tank for this game, it will be a one on one battle, as I concentrate all the enemy fire from the bottom line in one position. So that the ability to enrage will have a greater impact when attacking my opponent. In addition, the regeneration implemented among its skill set allows this monster to extend its durability in battle thanks to the "equalizer" rule and the vital points equal to the krakken.

image.png

WAVE RUNNER

This monster will attack from the second square thanks to its range ability and its great speed. Its increased resistance thanks to the rules of the game allow this monster to comfortably hold a couple of rounds while in the company of the tank they liquidate the rival monster.

I thought for a moment and visualizing the participation of the ruler by my opponent, I was motivated to place this character, since the enrage rule allows it to show its true teeth causing huge damage to the enemy team.

image.png

DEMENTED SHARK

It was the tool to achieve victory, first of all because of its +1 melee attack ability, unleashing a fierce attack on those characters of this category that were hit by rival monsters. This monster, thanks to the rules, must wait for its moment to attack, but as it is so important, I decided to leave it in the middle so that it would be well shielded..

image.png

SAND WORM

This famous kingdom wrecker card will always be present in my games where the mana level is high and allows me to use it, I admire its destructive power and tenacity to extinguish an enemy in a matter of one or two rounds. The only way to slow down a sand worm is with another sand worm of similar level, but if this one amplifies its vital points and speed you can say that it takes a little advantage of them.

image.png

DEEPLURKER

This character has a tremendous purpose in this position, his opportunistic ability and increased attack give a lot to talk about, but his speed is not high enough to hit among the first ones. So, if the last card focuses the attack and the ruler has the explosion ability, it means that the explosion will activate the enrage ability. By increasing its speed and attack, the kraken has a high chance of dodging hits when under the effect of the rage and this character will selectively eradicate the monsters it considers according to the algorithm.

image.png

THE KRAKEN

This character represents the strategy and its effectiveness, I didn't think that the battle would end so well. The truth is that I was a little doubtful at the beginning, but the cunning and good decision helped me to select my attackers properly. The idea was to concentrate all the magic damage in a single square, this character can dodge a lot of hits when he is under the effects of fury.

After concentrating the first hit and redirecting its direction, it will extend the durability of the tank that possesses the ability to regenerate and I was aware that it is no match for a round of magic attack as high as my opponent possessed. Also, triggering the fury on DEEPLURKER thanks to the ruler was something that shocked me.... I am a genius!
