Today I want to show you my design of the ring of evil and eternal life.
A little background of this ring:
The king sacrificed the life of one of his sons just to charge this cursed ring with dark energy. He hoped that the spirits would protect the owner of the ring from diseases and damage. But to be effective, the ring needs to be nourished with the souls of people.

1.I made a light sketch without detailing;

2.On top of the sketch I made a more detailed sketch and added reliefs, volumes, details;

3.I used the Pen tool and drew each of the elements on a separate layer;

4.Made each of the layers dense;

5.For each layer with ring elements, I began to create poison masks (when you right-click on the layer, you can select this function) and began to work through every detail;

6.Smoothed all the layers with a soft brush;

7.Worked out the remaining details and added highlights for the eyes and nose.

At the end, I made a black and white version to see where to add shadows, volumes and reliefs.
